"Don’t come to this yard, it’s impossible to get in and out of. Trailers are parked everywhere. One driver woke up to a trailer parked by itself in front of him where he couldn’t even get out. There is no space at all."
"Just to add some insight since it's my home terminal i know the yard is small and the dole containers seem to be everywhere but id the otr van reefer etc will not park on the dole spots there signs telling you not to the yard will be pretty organized we had someone fixing that and i was good for 3 weeks but drivers just dont care and park anyware they see a spot which end up messing up the whole ability of piggybacking 2 containers in one spot then parallel park the rest and have everything organized also blocking loaded containers then get mad because you knocked on their truck and woke them up FYI the deliveries on the dole account is night shift so if you block a container or a daycab you will be woken up or made to come back to the yard and move. So Don't block daycabs Don't block Dole containers We don't wanna wake you up and we don't want to take any parking spots other than ours."
"The parking situation here is terrible. The yard has become just a port/dole drop yard, and the worst part is its all day cabs taking up all the spots. There are otr drivers parking on the street outside the yard because of how bad the dole drivers just leave trailers absolutely everywhere. If you're otr for knight and think about coming here the facilities are nice but you can't use them if you can't park here. Ridiculous and I know it's been an ongoing issue but it's only getting worse"
"Love working for them , dispatcher is very knowledgeable and he use to be a driver so he fights hard for us . I appreciate all my ppl in Katy they really are the true definition of family oriented"
"Truck Entrance is NOT ACROSS from that High School. A lot of drivers take the wrong entrance for their trucks. Knight Tractor trailer lot is easily accessible on your GPS at 2120 Echelon Drive, Katy, Texas 77229 and your GPS will take you to the correct tractor trailer entrance."
