Welcome to the Lone Star College - Tomball Community Library, located at 30555 Tomball Parkway in Tomball, Texas. Our library has a rich history dating back to the 1920s, when it started with just one bookcase of 200 books in the old Post Office building on Main Street. Over the years, our library has grown and evolved to become an integral part of the Tomball community. At Lone Star College - Tomball Community Library, we are dedicated to serving both the academic and public community of Tomball. Our Director, Janna Hoglund, leads our team in providing a wide range of programs, classes, and events for all ages to enjoy. Whether you're looking for a new book to read, attending a workshop, or simply exploring our collection, there is always something exciting happening at our library.
Start Swimming
Start Swimming is a health and school institution located at 17545 North Eldridge Parkway in Tomball, Texas, United States. We offer indoor swim lessons for all ages and skill levels, from parent and child classes to advanced techniques. Our 12-week session deals starting in August are a great way to swim and save this fall! We also offer water aerobics, fitness swimming, lap swim, and water therapy. At Start Swimming, we believe in the positive effects that swimming and swim lessons have on individuals of all ages. It's never too late to learn how to swim, and it's never too early to start. Our experienced instructors, including Barbara Harold and her son Jason Harold, provide a personalized approach to each student's needs.
