John and Kalah run a fantastic gym - they care deeply about what they do and it shows. The facility is well maintained, the WODs are well-planned, and most importantly, they have a culture of safety that's ingrained into all of the coaches. They understand the movements well, and know when to push people harder and when to make them back off a bit - this may not seem like much but it's so important in CrossFit where there can be serious consequences from pushing too hard at the wrong time. I'm not going at the moment because of my work schedule, but I'll be back in the box as soon as I'm able to.”

When the rehab that my 86 year old Mom was residing in (after a severe fall that resulted in a broken hip & a fractured femur) failed to transport her to Texas Bone & Joint for a scheduled appointment, as I had shown up to meet her there so I could speak to the doctor. Confused & Livid that my Mom had not shown up, Melissa went over & above by acting promptly & calling the rehab to find out what had happened to prevent my Mom’s arrival, all the while being transferred to different people and working towards an answer & a solution ( all while checking out patients in her own position). Now, she didn’t have to do that, she was very busy and could have easily asked me to call them myself; However, she saw how panicked I was and assured me it would all get taken care of. Melissa should be regarded as a role model for all other busy doctor offices & definitely should be recognized by her superiors & co- workers for what she did for me & my Mom that day… and sadly while my Mom, Bobby Teets-Welcher is no longer here with us, I know she would have appreciated her efforts.
