"We started in the urgent care but had to be transferred down to the ER. Everyone was very kind and understanding. They explained everything to us while keeping our young son calm. The ultrasound tech, nurses, and doctor were careful to explain everything while not scaring our son. It's a hospital so there are long waits for everything but the staff did their best to keep us updated at each step. When we finally left we left assured that they checked him thoroughly and he was already feeling better from the meds. Hopefully we never need them again but if we do, we will definitely choose Texas Children's again."

"My son Raven came in and I being a new born mom and mom of 4 children was needing sleep after being up for 48hrs . The nurses all took turns holding Baby Raven and took care of him while I got some rest and he loved it, got lots of love and cuddles. I want to thank the staff that helped me with him so i can rest up to take care of him. Thank yall for being so helpful and sweet. Great Job yall."

"This style of making money is often referred to as a scam, but I guess it’s legal for some. The lack of wait times at the hospital, lack of communication after the fact, and total disregard for transparency are disgusting. I’ll drive past this hospital in an emergency to get to another one. Our newborn’s primary care was a Texas Children’s doctor. We were told they didn’t take walk-ins but that a triage nurse was on call. We called 8 times when our six day old child was having problems, and no one answered the phone. We had no choice but to go to the emergency room. They weighed our baby and took his temperature, then we waited HOURS to be seen. We saw a medical professional (doctor, nurses, etc) for less than five minutes out of the four hours we were there. $941? SCAM!!!"

"My son was transferred here from HCA Tomball's ER. He had a fever, increased work of breathing and low oxygen. From the xrays, it was suspected to be pneumonia. We first went to the ER and the doctors there concluded that he needed to be in the ICU. The doctors/PAs/nurses/RTs/PCAs were so kind and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Every single healthcare professional we interacted with, treated us with respect and care. My son on the other hand, he was a fighter. He didn't want anyone touching him so it was a difficult task for anyone who had to treat him. He responded well to the treatments though and only stayed in the ICU ( rm 417) from Wed night to Friday evening. He didn't need oxygen anymore or constant care so he was transferred to the third floor (314). We spent a night and got discharged this morning (Saturday). My son is only 17 months so this whole experience was scary for me. I'm writing this long review because I didn't know what to expect from this hospital. I never expected that I'd ever have to visit here and I hope I never have to again (under these circumstances). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my son and getting him better so quickly. I truly appreciate it! -The feisty toddler in 417 & 314"
