“Texas Tile Works is by far the best tile company around Bastrop and the surrounding areas. We first used their tile services back in 2017 when we were building out our grooms cabin for our wedding venue and their work was extraordinary. We have used their services two other times since then and they have impressed us every time with their knowledge, craftsmanship and attention to detail. The customer care they exude is far beyond anything we have ever experienced with any other contractor. From the moment you first reach out to them with an idea, to them arriving on time to look at a possible job they are supporting your vision without trying to compromise it for their own benefit. They perform the work fast, accurate and onetime and they do a great job cleaning up their work area. They are a class act all around, and a great family owned and operated business that Bastrop is lucky to have. We are already planning our next project with them, we are looking forward to seeing what they come up with for our kitchen remodel. “I used Butler Contracting to help me with an outdoor fire pit project. These guys completed my project 3 days earlier than projected. They went above and beyond, adding on nice little details I didn’t even specifically ask for in order for my pit to look as good and last as long as possible. Initially I felt the project quote was a little pricey for what I was wanting, however, I am a huge believer in you get what you pay for. “Some pleasant hiking to be had here with a nice mix of flat and up/downhill, and open and shaded paths. Hills are not very steep but some parts are just enough to get one panting a little bit. Restrooms are very clean, and there's a playground/camping/picnic area that you can drive to. Very cute little bridge crossings along the trails. Trails are marked well enough so you won't get lost.”
