    Wild Barley Kitchen & Brewery

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Open

“Wild Barley is a hidden gem perfectly located near Alamo Heights, and I couldn't be more impressed with my experience. The convenience of ample parking on both sides of the restaurant is a major plus, making it easily accessible. The atmosphere is inviting and lively, complemented by fantastic live entertainment and a great selection of drinks. During my visit, I tried the white Blanca cheese pizza, and it was an absolute delight. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, showcasing the quality of the ingredients used. It's definitely a must-try for pizza enthusiasts. The lunch menu is another highlight, and my personal favorites are the bagel sandwiches. They are not only delicious but also quite satisfying. The variety of options caters to different tastes, ensuring there's something for everyone. To top it off, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner's wife, who was extremely kind and welcoming. Her warmth added a personal touch to the overall dining experience. Wild Barley has become a go-to spot for me, offering a perfect blend of great food, live entertainment, and friendly service. If you're in the area, don't miss the chance to check out this fantastic establishment!”

    5 Stones Artisan Brewery

    ★★★★★ 4.8
    Closed

“New fav brewery! My husband loves beer but I don’t drink, so I was stoked to find out they have an espresso bar as well. They don’t do flights, but do half pours- I’m told the beer is really great here. We brought family here and they agreed! The maple latte was probably one of the best lattes I’ve ever had- their syrup is made in house. Only tried the fried mushrooms, they were alright. But the pizza looks amazing (might be seasonal, so check the menu!) The service is always really great. And I love the environment! Dog friendly. They have tons of outdoor seating, including an 21+ only section (great for my dog who gets nervous of kids running near him). If you get lucky you might snag a table by a fire pit on the chilly nights.”

    Obsidian Brewery

    ★★★★☆ 4.7

“Checked out this brewery and loved it! They’ve got a ton of beers, (almost) all made right there, and each one I tried was awesome. Plus, they’ve got some really good, allocated whiskeys for cocktails. The pizzas here are a hit too – lots of choices, including gluten-free ones. Everything tasted fresh and went well with the drinks. It’s a cool place to hang out, with a friendly vibe and staff that make you feel welcome. Definitely recommend it if you’re into good beer and pizza.”

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Open

“This by far is one of my favorite breweries in Dallas. It has a nice large building and huge patio, great for bringing your for babies and having a huge selection of craft beer. This place will not disappoint, will be back again. They have an airplane themed brewery makes sense because it is right by DFW love Field. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Although the menu is pretty small, the food will not disappoint, I enjoyed everything that we had and was made with great quality and love.”

    Pearl Brewery

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Open

“I recently visited The Pearl, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The transformation from an old brewery into a public space is nothing short of amazing. The way the community has incorporated elements of the old brewery into the park is a work of art in itself. Walking through The Pearl, you can't help but appreciate how they've turned the old into something beautiful and meaningful. It's a testament to the creative spirit of the community. And, to make your visit even more special, consider complementing it with a stroll along the River Walk. The combination of The Pearl and the River Walk creates a truly memorable outing. San Antonio's charm shines through in places like these. Overall, I love what they've done with The Pearl, and I highly recommend a visit. It's a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one place.”

    Funky Picnic Brewery & Café

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Open

“Tl;Dr - Fun place to go to. Their beer lives up to it's name. Funky weird non typical stuff. There's a good size sitting area here. Service was fast and efficient. Our guy came, took our drink order, saw we had kids, took their food order, then came back after we all had a chance to looks at the food menu and Gabe good advice on cocktails/beer and food choices. Nothing suggested disappointed. I'd suggest checking the beer on Untappd or Beer Advocate to get an idea if you'd like it or not. It's too subjective to add to the review of the place. I will say the flights they offer are pretty good, especially the picnic basket.”

    The Brewery LBK

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Open

“Personally not my favorite beers, but I have to give LBK credit that they have some of the most unique tasing beers I’ve had. I’ve traveled to various breweries across the world, and LBK really stands out with unique flavors. Even though they might not be the taste I’m looking for, I really enjoyed sampling a good variety. Aside from the beer, the staff is amazingly nice and friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful and modern. It really more felt like a Downtown Dallas bar than a Lubbock bar. Really glad I stopped by.”

    Jester King Brewery

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Closed

“Every visit to Jester King is a fun time. I’m a big fan of their beer and their business. They make some of the best farmhouse beers around. They do spontaneous and creative beers well too. Their passion for what they do is evident in their brews and the grounds. There are multiple brewery buildings, large outside seating areas, covered seating tents, lawn games, multiple bars, a kitchen, cats, goats, and pizza! Jester King also has plentiful parking and is family- and kid-friendly. What more could you want? Also one of the bathrooms is an Airstream so that’s pretty neat too. They have a few different bars that have different beers. They should have a map/menu that tells you which beers are where. They also have food at the kitchen bar. If you can do a brewery tour, definitely do it. Jester King has a coolship which isn’t something every brewery has. If you’ve never heard of it, it’s kind of like a shallow tub that’s half the size of a room. It’s an older method used to cool wort and use the air from open windows to allow for yeasts and bacterias to inoculate the beer. If you’re at all interested in beer making, it’s fascinating. You could easily spend several hours at Jester King so plan accordingly. I would also recommend wearing relatively walkable shoes, especially if you plan on going over to see the goats.”

    The Brewtorium Brewery & Kitchen

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Open

“Great food. Tons of beer options, obviously. The Joe vs Avocado bowl salad was quite good. I love that they included quinoa and corn. We wanted light so we split the salad. Prices are not bad at all. You kinda have to know what to do when you walk in You go to the bar counter before you sit down. They tell you what table number to go to. You can order then, but you may want to order drinks then sit at the table to figure out what to eat. They have just 2 or 3 menus at the bar. You'll want to use the QR code on the napkin holders to get the menu at your seat. Once your party knows what they want, then you get back in line at the bar to order. After the first time, you'll get the gist.”

There is something for everyone to like on the menu. The desserts were heavenly! It is a bit on the expensive side but I highly recommend it for the ambiance and the flavorful food.”

“This adorable little place came highly recommended, as we are newer to the area and trying to find all the good spots. We had a puppy with us and they have a building that they allow dogs in with an open courtyard-type setup. There was also another building if you don't like dogs. The food was fresh, delicious, and very reasonable priced! The beer was also great and there were many options to choose from!”

    Nocona Beer & Brewery

“Had a fun road trip with Farmer up to Nocona to look at some property, so we stopped into the old boot factory, which is now home to Nocona Beer. We gave a couple of the menu items a try and they were really good. Farmer and I split an order of the cheese sticks and had just enough to feel like we both had enough. The bar host was really friendly and we enjoyed visiting and learning more about the history of the town. There is a lot of great things going on and they have live music, both bands and acoustic, on the weekends. We want to get back up there on a Friday night to enjoy the entertainment. I can easily see us heading back up for a Saturday and enjoying the outdoor seating too, just relaxing and remembering what a day off is for. Definitely recommend and will be back!”

The Big Texan Steak Ranch & Brewery

“Excellent steak! And great value! Assuming you do not want to try the $72 steak challenge, the menu still has a ton to offer. I had the 36 ounce Houston cut Ribeye - it was 45 bucks. And was cooked correctly. Great deal. The atmosphere is great. There are typically people on the stage trying to do the 72oz challenge. Back in my day maybe, but no longer. Everyone cheers when someone is able to do it and/or gets started. Just a fun atmosphere. Service was excellent. Never had to wait for anything. Absolutely will go again if in Amarillo”
