"Prices went up and quality went down. Used to love this truck but now they want $12 for a machete and made them TINY. Machetes used to be $9 without fries. if I wanted fries I'd have ordered them. Which i wpuldnt because they are NOT good. So overall the value isn't there anymore for me. The tortillas are SO hard now, my jaw is sore after eating 2 tacos. The ladies are usually pretty rude or short with me, whether I'm speaking English or Spanish. Got my order wrong so after waiting i was missing items that they claim I never ordered. Located in a very sketchy parking lot with heavy foot traffic. Definitely doesn't feel safe. Be sure to keep your head on a swivel, especially if going at night."
"The BEST tacos I have ever had.I promise once you try them no other tacos will compare. My family has been coming here years for the $1 street tacos. Beef street tacos with their beans and elotes on the side is crazy good."
"The only place in Houston you need to get street tacos from. I have been going here for years and they are the same high quality in the day as they are at 2am. The tortas are delicious as well as the Tony’s tacos and my favorite tacos nortenos. But when you want some delicious $1 tacos, go here."
"the beans were good. The tacos barely had any meat. They were tiny, and $2 each. See the size of the lime for comparison. I asked for no oil on the tortillas and they said okay. They were so greasy. The tacos used to be fuller and they were $1. Edited to add these were beef and they only had onions and cilantro and they were $2."
"The service was nice enough and fast to get my food. The barbacoa needs more flavor, but was ok for a quick bite in tacos. The chicken quesadilla was just a greasy mess and really not worth it."
