FamilyTime Thrift Shop
FamilyTime Thrift Shop is a store located at 23874 Texas 494 Loop, Porter, Texas, United States. Our mission is to support FamilyTime, an organization that offers comprehensive individual and family counseling in a safe and confidential environment. The Thrift Shop helps to raise funds for FamilyTime by accepting donations of gently used items and selling them to the public. Beginning February 1, 2021, we will have a new donation schedule to increase efficiency and move donations more quickly. We thank you for your understanding and support. Donations can be dropped off at our Thrift Store location. In addition to our thrift shop, FamilyTime provides shelter (The Door) for temporary safe housing and offers case management services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our legal advocates can assist survivors as they navigate the legal system, and we also provide 24-hour victim/survivor accompaniment services at local hospitals. By shopping at FamilyTime Thrift Shop, you are supporting a valuable cause and helping to make a difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
Austin College Physical Plant
The Austin College Physical Plant, located on North Porter Street in Sherman, Texas, is responsible for the maintenance, operations, and housekeeping of all buildings on the university campus. This department aims to create a satisfactory environment in all buildings to support growth and learning through a residential living experience. If residents encounter maintenance issues in their residence, they can submit a maintenance request, contact their Resident Assistant or Area Coordinator, or notify the building secretary or main office. For maintenance problems occurring on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., residents can email physicalplant@austincollege.edu.
