Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue is a must-visit tourist attraction located at 629 Granite Road in Clinton, Tennessee, United States. As the Official Zoo of Anderson County, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife in East Tennessee and beyond. Founded by James Cox, our non-profit zoo provides a forever home for exotic animals rescued from across the US. In 2019, we became a certified wildlife rehabilitation facility by TWRA, allowing us to rescue, rehabilitate, and release a variety of Tennessee wildlife such as raccoons, rabbits, possums, birds, and owls. We also offer educational field trips for local schools to teach students about animals and the environment.
