"Lived here 2 years and am counting down the days until I’m out. First year wasn’t terrible, worth the price. After my rent increased I was still willing to do another year to skip the hassle of moving but then it got much worse. Heat broke when it was 8 degrees outside and it took an entire week to get it fixed majorly due to poor communication with their staff. The after hours maintenance man came out originally and he said he would have someone come immediately the next morning and so I waited all day and nothing. Finally called the office and they said they had no idea of the situation and would try to get someone to come out which didn’t happen for several days. Long story short they don’t communicate with each other and they definitely don’t communicate with the residents. Was working for a couple weeks and then broke again which took another week to “fix”. Recently I had a rock thrown through my windows while I was asleep and when I called the office they said they would try to get someone out to fix it. Asked them to call me before they let someone in my apt in case I’m at work and of course they don’t. Gave complete strangers keys to my apt and didn’t even give me a courtesy call to let me know, only knew because I have cameras. Called back and they informed me it was just an estimate and they would be coming back to fix it. Been over a week now and nothing. Called yesterday just looking for a possible ETA on when they would be coming and was assured they would check with maintenance and call me before closing for the day. Received no call. Now the cherry on top is my air conditioning isn’t working. Please don’t live here!! Not worth 1400 dollars a month for here."

"Okay yall. I am leaving a five star review for Mr. Isaac Y. This apartment complex has done me wrong so many times in the past. I don’t actually even live here anymore. But when I called upset and engaged in Karen Mode after multiple failed attempts to solve an issue, Mr. Isaac was ready for me. He was calm and professional and was able to deescalate my horrible attitude. The issue isn’t even solved just yet but I wanted his boss to know how valuable he is. Please give this man a raise and a bonus for being able to handle the missteps and mistakes of the office he merely answers phones for. His client retention must be phenomenal. Five Stars for Mr. Isaac. One star for Hickory Highlands. He deserves better than the anger your company causes."

"My son is looking for a place after getting an offer at the airport and looking at apartments in the Antioch and Smyrna area. We stopped by Hickory Highlands, This was our 3rd apartment complex in the Antioch area. The office staff was really nice. One of the leasing agents wasn't sure about a question I had so she asked the manager Ashley to come assist her. They were beyond helpful and extremely professional. Ashley explained what type of documentation we could provide since my son just got hired and is waiting for his offer letter. I realize this place is an older apt complex but it's well taken care of. The rent quoted is within his budget and the proximity to the highway and airport are a plus. I would highly recommend looking into this place. It's not brand spanking new but it has good amenities and the price is right. The ladies in the office were really helpful and Ashley answered all the questions we had. When we were leaving a resident stopped by and had some questions about her lease and we listened in. The person was wanting to renew her lease so that's a good sign. She left the office happy and I'm sure we'll be back."

"The pictures below are from the apartment they considered “move in ready” for me. I’m glad the door was unlocked and I was able to look at before I passively accepted it. They were able to give me a different unit free from roaches after some back and forth. I stayed here for two more years after. Rent went up 300 dollars each year. Not really worth it considering the amount of shootings that I heard while I was home. Also when I did finally leave, the property manager at the time assured me that I had no further fees to pay and then emailed me from a private email stating I owed money. I did not receive the email as it appeared to be spam. Not once did they call or send a bill to my forwarding address but sent me to collections. Please go anywhere else."

"I'll give 3 stars only because I enjoy my apartment. However it's the new property manager that kept this rating from being 5 stars. She comes in, and creates her own rules. First sheTells me I can't pay with a money order anymore, when it's clear as day in my lease that this is a form of payment. I make cash tips so this is the way I Choose to pay. Then most recently she refused to accept my money order when it's dated for the 5th. I don't believe that it's my fault that my work ours don't match with the office hours. Mind you there isn't a drop box!!!. Do I have to change my work hours for her? That's a serious question. So now she is about to waste my time, and your money in court, because I'm not paying a late fee when my rent wasn't late. She's rude, and unapproachable"
