The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, located at 4119 Cromwell Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a historic museum where visitors can embark on a journey aboard a short-line locomotive. The museum offers a variety of train rides, including the popular "The Local" voyage which takes passengers from Grand Junction Station to East Chattanooga, with stops for demonstrations and tours along the way. In the spring of 2024, the museum will host a special Thomas & Friends™ themed event with activities for families to enjoy. Visitors can also experience a traditional tea service at the Grand Junction Depot with the Homefront Tea Room, or take a historic 6-hour train ride to the Civil War town of Chickamauga, Georgia on the Chickamauga Turn excursion.
