"It was an interesting Discovery to find this place. We were actually looking for a bike trail but our Google Maps brought us there it's not a bike trail it's a canoe access to the river. There were six steps for the Bayou Boy Scout project in a tiny waterfall. Seems nice for a canoe ride."
"It would be tough to put in here but not as bad to pull out. There is a steep ledge leading into the water that goes down a short and slippery water fall. Be careful.We usually start at the Hwy 100 drop and pull out here which allows for about a 3 hours float if your taking your time."
"I agree with the comments, the hill is steep and this spot is a little difficult to drop a canoe or kayak into the water. Good news is this spot is not crowded like other places along the Harpeth and once you start paddling here you will have the area (mostly) to yourself. Worth while effort, for sure."
