Nat Caldwell Park
Nat Caldwell Park is a charming park and tourist attraction located in Gallatin, Tennessee, United States. Situated right off of US-31E/Nashville Pike, this park is the perfect spot for a day of picnicking and outdoor activities. The group picnic shelter can accommodate up to 50 guests, with parking available for approximately 25 vehicles. Old Hickory Lake, a 22,500 acre reservoir created by the Old Hickory Lock and Dam on the Cumberland River, is a prominent feature of the park. Named after former president Andrew Jackson, the lake offers 440 miles of scenic shoreline surrounded by wooded flatlands and numerous access points. Hikers can also explore the nearby Lock 4 Park, which features hiking and mountain bike trails.
