423 Coffee and Mercantile

"I placed an order for apparel from their Facebook post on November 17th. I sent 2 emails and commented on the post that I purchased off of asking for an update as many of the items were Christmas items and we hoped to wear them for the month. On December 13th I finally received my order but there was an incorrect item, my son’s youth large was an adult large, no way that will work and it’s a christmas design. I immediately sent an email asking to be refunded for that item, I didn’t want to wait for a replacement since it took nearly a month to get my order. I stated if they provide a prepaid label, I would be happy to send it back (I shouldn’t have to pay for their mistake). I sent a follow up email 4 days later as I feel like nobody cares about their emails since I never heard back from the very first email I sent 2 weeks ago, let alone the next 2. I should have saved my money and not ordered from here. Some of the items that did come correct don’t look great because they are on 3x crewnecks and the design on them does not fit the size of the apparel, they are entirely too small. I make shirts and I know for different sizes of apparel you have to adjust your image size. But I thought it was a good deal and they were designs I didn’t have and haven’t seen or didn’t want to try and find them elsewhere, so I ordered them. I didn’t say I didn’t want these items or ask for a refund on these, I will deal with them, I just may not wear them in public a whole lot, rather just be an at home on the homestead crewneck."

"3 times I've had awful experience! Kept going back hoping they were just going through growing pains. Nope! 1 girl in the kitchen likes to dig her wedgie out while making food (I watched her do it while waiting on drinks). Tried doordash only to get wrong drinks & told that I should know the difference between oat milk & whole milk BY SIGHT. By the manager! Since they don't label any drinks. Beware of this place"

"Horrible experience. Why can't they label their drinks? My poor son is lactose intolerant and they couldn't even label oat milk and whole milk. How is this place still in business? Be warned people, they don't care about lactose intolerant people. We own a local successful business and will be telling our clients NOT to use this place."

"My family has been going to 423 now pretty much since we moved down here this past spring, since they are more or less the only option if you want to have a coffee on your way to church on Sunday. The coffee is typically average, the prices fairly high for what you get, and the service ranges from ok, to very slow. The staff tends to be pretty friendly, although sometimes seems to spend a lot of time sitting in the back on their phones and not so much out at the counter. My only real complaint is that they are very, very frequently out of common things. Like, earlier today they were *out of* milk. Like... not any fancy milk. Basic cow-milk, the kind that you use for more or less every espresso drink. There's a Sav-Mor food within five minutes walking distance - but this is the second time in a month that they've been "out of milk" when we've come in to get our drinks. I'd really LIKE to like the place more, but they're just kinda expensive and not very reliable. We ended up at McDonalds this morning for our coffee... Hey look, even Micky Ds could manage to pick up a gallon of milk!"

"Very nice looking place in a good location. The staff is friendly and quick. The latte I ordered taste like water. I ordered 4 shots, regular milk and I only taste foam and water. At $7, I think better options exist."
