"Honestly, this firm was not helpful at all. I called for information about my parents' portfolio purchased 30 years ago. They claim that they only keep a customer record for only 6 years which is fine. So, I pursue asking what should I do? I mean any information upon how I can obtain what they purchased for my 80 yrs old parents. The firm basically diverted and dodge all the questions by telling me to ask my parents on what stock they had purchased. If I knew, I would not have contact Brown Associates. This went on for a while and the firm just hung up the phone. I'm pretty sure they were helpful when my parents walked into their firm giving them the money at the time. I guess the customer service limitation is 6 years if you they don't hear from you. In the end, all I was asking was to give me some sort of direction or where to go in this sort of situation? Forget about caring, if they didn't have the knowledge upon where to go or what to do when something like this happen - concerns me with the portfolio they are selling!"
