"On 3/23/2023 I went to H&R Block to get my brothers' tax done for 2022. He passed away 2/28/2023 and I am the executor of his estate. The Block tax agent charged me $139 to do his taxes. One week later she told me that there was a mistake on my tax form (reporting me as the one that passed away and not my brother). I didn't catch the mistake at the time and I had no opportunity to do so!) I have been told numerous times and made promises to correct the error to no avail. There is to be a return but I am wondering when that will occur if ever. Because of the response of the owner I will follow through with calling the number he provided. I want this all to be done with and if they in fact help me with the problem I will revise the stars I had given them. Update: Today is 10/29/2023, months later and I have not received a refund! However, the IRS sent me a letter and the refund is in the mail. The IRS stated they thought it better to send me the notice instead of contacting H&R Block. The IRS may be slow but they finally came through for me, H&R Block forgot about me."
