"Was my second time staying at the Bear House, and the first for my husband and our friends. They loved it and of course I did! It is absolutely beautiful! We were there right before Christmas, the decorations were gorgeous, and everything so welcoming! Is always clean, neat, accommodating, and the host family are awesome too! Definitely plan on vacating there again!!"
"We are currently spending 3 nights at The Bear House in Chattanooga. We stayed the 1st night in town but decided on the next 3 closer to Lookout Mountain. The Bear House location is perfect and so much nicer as I wasn't thrilled with the city and the price can't be beat. Lily's Loft has a queen bed. The apt is big. It is stocked with everything from water bottles, breakfast snacks, candy, coffee, tea, spices if you want to cook, candy, q-tips, to feminine hygiene products. Better a/c than a hotel and FREE parking. The floor is a bit creaky but no one is in the downstairs apt at the moment. It does have stairs to the apt underneath in case you have more people. The sunroom is nice with a very cabin feel. We have eaten at 1885 (excellent drinks, good food), ice cream at Clumpies twice, lunch at Han Mi (Korean), Champys for chicken, Honey Seed for breakfast and going to Sawasdee Thai tonight. The Incline (parking $2), 1885, Clumpies and Thai are close to walk to. Take the Incline and walk 3 blocks to Point Park (NPS fee to get in), drive to Rock City a must see and Ruby Falls. We also went to Chickamauga Battlefield (watch the film 1st) and the National cemetery in town. The aquarium is very well designed. Walk the pedestrian bridge. Thank you Sharman for a perfect stay. 5 stars for the Bear House"

"We had the second floor of the house, two two bedroom units with a shared kitchen. The house is very nicely furnished and decorated, and we'll provisioned with coffee, tea, and snacks, and the kitchen was small but well equipped. The ground are very nicely landscaped. It was a short walk to the incline railroad, restaurants, and a supermarket. We had a very pleasant stay."
