The Rapid City Public School Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Rapid City, South Dakota, United States. Our mission is to support and enhance the educational experience for students in the Rapid City public school system. We provide funding for programs, projects, and initiatives that benefit students and help them succeed academically. Our foundation is located at 10 Van Buren Street in Rapid City and we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students in our community. Music Center
The Music Center at 481 Technology Court in Rapid City, South Dakota is a university institution that offers a diverse range of musical programs and performances. The center hosts various ensembles such as the Fantasy and Fright Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir, and Singing Engineers. Throughout the year, the Music Center presents a series of concerts featuring different ensembles including the University Orchestra, University Band, and Jazz Band. Music is an integral part of the curriculum at South Dakota Mines, where students have the opportunity to develop their musical talents alongside their studies in science and engineering. The music program, developed by former Director of Music Dr. James D. Feiszli, has received recognition from prestigious organizations such as The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Carnegie Foundation.
