Sears

"DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! They are under liquidation and have no power to give customer service. I was supposed to have appliances delivered on a Saturday and they never called and never showed! Called the store and the manager (Blair) and they didn't care enough to even try to help me. It is not even Sears anymore. It is so sick!! I am completely helpless and there is nothing I or anyone can do to help. Please shop somewhere else .I would hate for this to happen to anyone else!"

"I recently purchased all appliances for my kitchen and a washer/dryer set from the Sears in the mall. After delivery of the appliances, I noticed many scratches on our fridge. I called the (I'm assuming) national sears number to file a complaint. It was the fourth day after delivery (2 of the days were Saturday and Sunday). The lady at customer service was so rude and completely unhelpful because I was outside of my 3 day window to report damage. I was discouraged, but decided to call the local sears in Sioux Falls to see if they could help. I explained my situation and apologized for not calling immediately. They were so incredibly helpful!! Everyone I talked to on the phone was friendly and they were willing to help me out including ordering a new fridge to be delivered in the next three weeks. Thank you, Sears, for being understanding and taking the time to listen to your customer!!"

"Found the perfect grill online and special discounts and had it delivered to the mall for free so that I could pick it up. It was exceptionally easy to deal with them and I received an incredible deal on my merchandise. I sincerely hope that our Sears does NOT close down. I will do more of my shopping with you guys!! Thank you."

"Customer service could be better; young guy not very friendly & he seemed annoyed to help me plus it took over ten minutes for him to respond. Usually I don't need help from an associate but with the large purchase I did. I had to wait for another associate to get back from break because the first guy couldn't assist me. Finally after twenty minutes I got assistance in the exercise department. Lastly, they didn't have one in the store and it has to be ordered & it will take a week or two get to Sears."

"Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered an appliance online and went with the ship to store option because it saved me a couple days and I really needed it as quickly as possible. The day before it was to arrive I was informed via email that it would be a day late. That was fine. One day would not bother me that much. I called the store to confirm, but no one picked up the phone in that particular department. I left my name and number (mind you, this was at 10:15 am, 15 mins after the store opened) so that they could call me back at their convenience. Two hours went by so I decided to call back. Again, no answers. I tried a few more times and on my fourth attempt I received the store's operator who paged the department I was looking for. I guess it must be a big day for appliance sales because everyone was busy. I left my name and number with the operator so that they could call me back (at their own convenience, which could be any time between noon and forever) and have not yet received a call back. I am extremely disappointed because I have had good experiences at other Sears stores and expected the same kind of customer service, but I guess this store just doesn't need my business after all."
