"If there were 0 stars I would choose 0. Staying at the Montage Palmetto. Went to RT Market for some goods, waited in line, the folks in front of me were Mexican. The gentlemen handed the woman at the register a $100 bill, only to be literally shamed, humiliated, by this checkout woman and the woman bagging groceries; saying in a condescending and entitled tone "we do not break 100 bills and if you dont have a credit card, you will have to leave." The couple were humiliated, as was every person in the line. They left. I was shocked and embarrassed by the way these people were treated. So I spoke up; "why did you have to talk to him that way? Why would you treat someone like that?" Her response, and the other woman who made it known she was irritated and bothered to have to unbag his items, was "they" (we know what she meant by they) come in here with 100 dollar bills; we cannot keep breaking those. I am tired of it." Hmm. "They" meaning your customers? Then get more change! She went on and on, how I dont live here so I dont know...I think she honestly thought her behavior was warranted. I was shocked at the level of downright racism I just witnessed; so embarrassed that anyone would be treated in such a manner; it was as if we were back to 1900 but worse. How many times have this couple endured this racist treatment? How many times have these 2 women at RT Market treated people in this fashion? RT Market you should be ashamed of yourselves."
"Nice location in the Bluff to get some supplies to do some private cheffing and/or snacks while on an adventure!! Very convenient instead of leaving the gates if your in a pinch for a home cooked meal. Gas, beer, wine, coffee, and specialty items. Very close to the Montage Hotel…Thanks so much!"

"A very nice store. More of a country store due to the fresh cuts of meats, fish, pastries, and fresh lunch that can be bought from here but also the convenience of a gas or service station because gas, air, water, and charging station available here. Kinda pricey but it will be money well spent due to the great staff that runs the store."
"Wonderful place with an old general store feel. Not only do you feel like your stepping back in time, this place is full of neat foods, a high class wine selection, and home made pastries."
