"This morning I arrived to Doctors Care with pain in both ears. Walking in, the women at the front desk were nice, the medical assistant who took my vitals was very kind and compassionate ( I believe her name was Trish). However, the nurse practitioner who I met with (Monica W) was awful. She appeared annoyed as she introduced herself as “nurse practitioner” (no name) and asked about my ear pain. I think I got in half a sentence before she interrupted me telling me I have an outer ear infection and it’s from being congested (which I have not been). I guess I looked confused because she went off, asking me: WHATS WITH THE LOOK?! I simply told her that I haven’t been congested. She then told me it could be because I have such long hair, that food or dirt in my hair could have caused the infection while sleeping. I must have given her another confused look because she went off on me again: IM EDUCATING YOU MAM! I told her the pain was so severe in my right ear, that the slightest touch increased my pain and standing up made me dizzy. I also had a great deal of swelling and draining last night that I had to use a Q-tip to open up my right ear this morning to release the draining and to be able to hear. She went off again: YOU DONT PUT THINGS IN YOUR EAR MAM. At that point she caught me looking at her name on her shirt and sarcastically says: YEAH, GET A GOOD LOOK AT MY NAME! She jams her otoscope in my (also painful) left ear and naturally, I tense up. At this point she is barking orders at me: YOU NEED TO BE STILL WHILE I EXAMINE YOU. When she gets to my right ear, her roughness causes me extreme pain to the point that I have tears in my eyes. . Instead of easing up with the rude behavior, she goes off again, this time with more attitude: ARE YOU OKAY?! That’s when I finally snapped back and asked: If she was okay because it seemed like she had a problem with me when she first entered the room. She flat out told me: MAM WE ARE NOT GOING THERE… I became silent after that. For the rest of the appointment, I stared at the floor as she explained what she was prescribing to me. I guess realizing how she acted towards me, she handed me a box of tissues as I still had tears on my face, her “nicer” attitude seemed condescending. I hate myself for crying and not walking out or requesting another doctor but at that point, I wanted my antibiotics so I could go home. I was too tired and had too much pain to stay longer. As one who works in healthcare, I deal with patients who are in pain every day and it’s heartbreaking to see someone in her position be so awful. From what I experienced today, this is not the right career choice for Ms. Monica W. *Honestly, she was so unprofessional, makes me wonder if she even has a license to practice.. which I looked up and don’t even see her name on the LLR. Do better Doctors Care."

"Super disappointed. I came in and the front desk ladies were very nice. Although strange to be walking around with your snacks and crunching in front of patience. To each their own. The nurse i saw was also very kind and very funny. However i came in believing i had an ear infection and the provider looked in my ear for 2 seconds wiggling the light around and told me i just needed to take Flonase and a decongestant bc it’s not infected but full of fluid. I do not have any respiratory symptoms or any additional symptoms that would indicate i needed those since i have no congestion or respiratory symptoms. Absolutely of zero assistance, and my ear pain is still getting worse. (Only giving 2 stars simply because of the front desk and nurse)"
"I have never been so disappointed in the level of care at a health care facility. I was in last week with many different symptoms, I ended up being diagnosed with a bladder infection. The NP I saw completely ignored many symptoms that were huge factors in what the real problem was. They sent me home with a prescription and a work excuse (which turned out to be an excuse for an entirely different person). I called back the next day to get a work excuse that was actually for me and they said they'd email it. Never got an email. I ended up in the ER two days later with symptoms that had progressively gotten worse. Fast forward to today when they call me to tell me my culture came back negative for a bladder infection. They never told me they weren't 100% sure or that they were sending a culture out. The way the spoke to me made it seem that they were quite certain that was my problem. The woman on the telephone said that if my symptoms hadn't changed or had gotten worse that I should go back to which I informed her that I'd actually ended up in the hospital already. This woman did not ask me what the problem ended up being or if I was even alright, just said "I'll add that to your chart." I am truly flabbergasted by the experience I've had with this Doctor's Care over the last week. I have never felt so neglected or uncared for."
"I’m active duty and was referred to this place when I fell ill when on base medical was closed on the weekend. They take Tricare. Very friendly staff. I appreciated how the waiting list was broadcast on the screen so you can see where you are in line. Also, they called the next day to see how you’re doing after they’ve seen you. Highly recommend."
