"When I moved to Summerville, I asked a friend where to get good, old-fashioned country food. She brought me to Eva's and I'm so thankful! I always get the fried chicken. Also, what is it about drinking sweet tea from a Mason jar that makes it taste so good?"
"Visited for the first time with my daughter and fiance for my birthday. Wait was 35 minutes for a table but well worth it. Sweet tea was perfect and we never had an empty glass. So many choices on the menu but went with Eva’s Benedict and home fries on the side. Corn bread was like a dessert. Bacon was crispy and so tasty. Scrambled eggs cooked perfectly. Sausage gravy …. Ummm … Absolutely delicious. Wish I’d had room for apple pie. So many option on the menu. Will definitely be back to try something else. Loved that MERRY CHRISTMAS was said throughout our visit and didn’t once hear that “happy holidays” nonsense. Can’t believe I’ve lived in the Summerville area for 30 years and had never heard of this gem."
"Looking for a home cooked meal served with a smile? Eva's on Main is the place. The sausage gravy is like granny made it, but with more sausage. The pancakes are quite sweet on their own, almost like vanilla cake. Fried chicken is tender and juicy with a crispy seasoned breading. Daily specials are truly special. Try the pork tenderloin! On Sunday, the cornbread dressing served with generous portions of delicious baked chicken or ham is moist and well seasoned. We go almost weekly, sometimes for breakfast and other times for lunch. Either way, we've never been disappointed there."
"Wanted to try the southern comfort food and was not disappointed. We cleaned every plate!! Will definitely make this our go to spot every other Sunday! You know it’s gonna be good when the wait time was 30 mins! Place was booming with business and now I see why! Terrific service! Wonderful waitress! Felt like family immediately!!"
