D's Wings

"This is my first time having D’s since their move from the other plaza in Cayce. The food has definitely changed. Service and atmosphere were great. The food came out quickly and piping hot! We ordered the Gamecock, medium, and dry rub traditional bone in wings with raw fries. We asked for the wings to be fried extra crispy. The kitchen didn’t follow up on that so the wings were soggy. The wings were very lightly sauced or dusted with dry rub. The chicken wings were big and very unseasoned. It wouldn’t hurt to add a little or a lot more salt to the wings prior to frying them. The taste of medium was not like normal buffalo sauce it was more like buttery watery tomato sauce and Gamecock didn’t taste the same at all - it seemed to be missing all the flavor and had a more red color. The raw fries were very raw and unseasoned as well. We were excited to share the experience of D’s with our kids, but it was a fail and we probably won’t return."

"I came to this place because of it’s popularity but I had a horrible first experience! I can say my server was very nice and helpful. I ordered the spicy honey mustard wings with seasoned fries and I was very disappointed with how it was made. I told my server my issues with the food and he agreed with me. My wings barely had any sauce on them, two wings were half meat half bone, my fries weren’t fresh, a lot of my fries were small, and pieces of chicken tenders were on my plate along with a chip. Another employee comes out and asks me what’s wrong with my food and I explained the same thing to her. A manager I believe comes out and tells me there’s nothing wrong with my food, he refuses to have it remade, the wings are made right by the tenders, and the chip was an accident. I said I want my food remade please or I can just leave. He yells out in front of everyone “Well you can get out of here, leave” as he pats me on my back (assault).That was rude and embarrassing! I’m glad I kept my cool and I have class because he clearly doesn’t. I was very polite and all I wanted was for my food to be remade. There was a couple who’s food looked perfect and that’s exactly how I wanted mine. I hope whoever is in charge can review the cameras and get rid of that manager!"

"Made a quick stop to just taste the wings that my partner has raved about. They were delicious, we had the garlic parmesan wings. I love for my wings to be drenched in sauce and they did just that. Even though my partner told me that normally it's not as much sauce as we received yesterday lol. I had no complaints. We also ordered the shrimp dip (didn't take a picture of it), but omg definitely make sure you add it to your appetizer list. It was so flavorful with nice size shrimp bites in it. When I have more time I will visit again to try more things on the menu."

"Met a friend for lunch. My wings were fantastic. My friend had the shrimp and told me her meal was excellent. I had garlic parmesan and the sauce was very good. I have been here before and will come again."

"Very busy on a Tuesday night but we were seated quickly, our server Blake was fast, friendly and helpful. Food came out very quickly. Irish Nachos were good. We had Firecracker Shrimp with a side of cole slaw and garlic mashed potatoes. Flavor was great, serving size was a bit small. Loaded chicken was also delicious. Blake recommended the blueberry muffin cheesecake and fried ice cream. The desserts were great and large portions. Overall great experience and I really appreciated the staff working hard, cooperating to get food to the table quickly, and very courteous."
