"I recently moved from out of state and needed to get my kids updated on their vaccines before school started. The receptionist refused to even make an appointment since they were behind on their vaccine schedule, which was the very reason for the appointment! She informed me that I need to take my kids to the state medical facility downtown. Not being from here, I did not realize this was an indigent care facility. I have excellent insurance and I was completely horrified that this receptionist would refer me there! Point blank, this doctors office is not standing behind the hippocratic oath to prescribe only beneficial treatments, according to their abilities and judgment. You will receive the harshest judgement directly from the receptionist. Absolutely abhorrent behavior."

"The receptionist was very rude. My wife had made our son appointment with one of the other doctors. Appointment was at 1:40. We got stuck in traffic in Spartanburg and we called and told them we would be a few mins late. Well my wife and son gets there and they put us as a no show. My NEEDED to be seen but the receptionist nor the doctor he was going to see didn't even care. Don't get me wrong we LOVE Dr. Donna and her nurse. They are always great and friendly. But this is my last straw with the people up front. Very rude and unprofessional. My 3 year old will be finding a new doctor."

"What an unbelievable unsatisfying experience. I called the front desk staff to switch my kids from Charleston to the upstate and the first question was, "do they have immunization or vaccination records? I was denied a conversation and to make an appointment further beyond that. They denied my kids healthcare based on that question alone. Front desk is exceptionally rude, complete opposite of what you would want as a representative of your office at first contact. Agregious behavior paired with human indecency, do not support this practice by being a patient here. I can't believe we live in a society where intelligent people are being silenced so that ignorant people's feelings don't get hurt. I thought this was America."

"Beware: if you are 10 minutes late to your appointment instead of communicating to you that you missed your appointment they will punish you instead and try to teach you a lesson by keeping you waiting for over an hour. Very rude and unprofessional. Communication goes a long way and I hope your front desk receptionists learn on how to communicate effectively so parents can make the choice whether to wait that long or reschedule. Then the doctor calls and is the furthest from understanding and places all blame on you instead of the staff who denies to take accountability or lessons on customer service and communication skills 101. They also book your appointments 10 minutes ahead of time than they are actually scheduled. Confirmation texts, emails, and mychart all say a different time than they do on the phone. They also don’t take accountability on that front as well. Good luck!"

"Dr Donna has been our dr for 14 years for my 15, 7, and 18 month old children. I went to her because I knew the nurse at the time. Dr Donna has always been polite, a good listener, and just an all around great dr. Her nurse Sherry is also very nice and polite. They have never steered my family in the wrong direction. My oldest daughter has an auto immune disorder, and Dr Donna takes care of her needs. If anyone knows me they know my kids are my life! If Dr Donna ever left then I would leave also. We have also seen Dr Yelton and Parr. They are great too. The phone staff, front staff, and especially Shaunna has always been polite and fast for our family. We have never missed an appt because of my chart and texts we get."
