"This is a general serious complaint about FedEx delivery. For a couple of years I have been ordering meals from one of the popular internet sites. I order two per week and they are delivered to my home. The first year there were little to no problems with the deliveries, which are always scheduled for the same day of the week. The last year, FED EX, your deliveries are horrendously late. This is perishable food, which is carefully packed with insulated bags of a refrigerant which is water based and can be recycled once melted, it should keep the food fresh for the 24-48 hours the food company allows for delivery. But no more! On quite a few occasions, IF the food is delivered on the day I am expecting it, it comes very late at night (out of a facility in Pooler, GA), well after 6 p.m. but more often now, it is 24-48 hours AFTER the scheduled date of delivery, and sits in Pooler for another delayed day with no reason given, or, if it goes out for delivery, it gets to us with the box starting to fall apart, the refrigerant has been melted and no longer cold for at least 24-48 hours after the scheduled delivery. I have complained to the food company time after time about food that I refuse to use because I can no longer count on the ingredients, especially proteins like meats or fish, being fresh and NOT unsafe to use. I generally go by the rule of if it has been defrosted for at least two days it is going bad, even if kept in the refrigerator. These late deliveries are unacceptable. I have complained to the food company, but it is impossible to complain directly to FED EX either by phone or by written complaint. FED EX, are you that irresponsible with people’s perishable items??? I would give you no stars if I could. I now am considering canceling or refusing anything delivered by FED EX, or worse yet, having to complain to the food company, which is very careful in packing and uses very high fresh foods, but I have to cancel that service entirely, all because FED EX cannot deliver on its scheduled dates. And I will no longer use FEX EX for delivering anything I need to send to someone. Enough is enough, FED EX. I am FED UP with you."

"Easy to see why this FedEx is rated @ 2.5 stars…however, this is overrated!! The young woman finally came to the counter and without a word, stood in front of me typing into what appeared to be a phone. After a minute or so and without looking at me, asked if I was sending a FedEx. I said yes and that I wasn’t waiting for the bus. She replied that she was typing info for my package and said I had an attitude. I said it would be helpful if she had acknowledged me in the first place and had indicated what she was doing in the first place and then I walked away! People like her gives any person an attitude!"
