The Courage Center

"A year ago I was in a completely different place than I am now. Being with people that were in the same place mentally as me or even in the same situation improved my mindset that I could get through things. The counselors are extremely supportive and do their very best to to get you past whatever you’re going through, through my time at TCC I talked with one of the counselors, Jesse Franklin, he put in extra time and went out of his way to do one on one meetings with me, Jesse has been through a similar situation and is now recovered and now helping others recover. it’s been great coming here and in such a positive and helpful environment."

"October 22, 2022 I was able to start my recovery with the help of the Courage Center and it’s awesome coaches Amber,William,Jessi.Kayla. Every Wednesday I attend a 7:30 p.m. meeting to further strengthen my recovery. My favorite coaches are the ones that had been listed and are the ones that I’ve benefited from. Helping me, Guiding Me, and giving me the tools to take on life. I know now I don’t have to be alone anymore. I have family in recovery. I have family at the courage center. Amber helped me find the courage center by talking to me at my worse and showing me the light that was at the end of the tunnel. Really being a huge guide for me at the first few days of recovery. Now every time I get to see her it’s great conversation. William was my first coach and really answered a lot of off the wall questions I had about life (Since I was literally reborn) and help set up an awesome M.A.T Program that I have benefited on tremendously. William is a huge part of my testimony because he was the one that helped me out of the car into the doors of The Courage Center. Jessi become my second coach ,and Became a brother like mentor to me. Answering every call and has kept a day to day routine on talking with eachother. Jessi has a lot of great advice to give and tells it in such an understanding way. Kayla has become a great recovery sister, and helps me with any confusion I have about life. Everytime I get a new tattoo it’s a big deal for me to send it to Kayla because that’s kinda our thing now! Also she has a lot of positive in-site on recovery and will set me up with what ever I need help with. My Experience With the Courage center has changed my life. Coming from a Spiritual Awakening straight into The Courage Center a day later Was definitely God Given."

Originally ordered to attend by probation, I now owe my life and on going sobriety to the amazing staff here. If you feel like there is no hope. If you feel that no one can understand or that no one cares. Please contact someone here because they do care. They will restore your hope, and they will help you rediscover your self-worth. Never judging always going above and beyond to help those who are wanting and willing to accept help. My faith in humanity had run out until I came here. They have the most loving and understanding staff. I’ve been involved here for a while. They’ve got amazing stuff like events and peer led meetings that offer support to anyone who wants it.
