Caesars Head State Park Visitor Center
● OpenCaesars Head State Park Visitor Center, located at 8155 Geer Highway in Cleveland, South Carolina, is a travel agency offering information and services for visitors to the park. Please note that the Assault on the Carolinas Bike Race will take place on April 6th, causing heavy traffic delays on HWY 276. The Visitor Center will be undergoing renovations in the coming weeks, so hours may vary and sections may be closed off. Trails at the park close at 7:00 PM daily, and day-use parking is first-come first-serve. Hike-in Trailside campsites are available by reservation only. The park is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during daylight saving time and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. the rest of the year. Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas as long as they are on a leash, and owners must remove noisy or dangerous pets. Park manager Kathryn Gompers recommends visiting the overlook at Caesars Head for a spectacular view of fall leaves. The park connects to Jones Gap State Park in the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, offering a variety of hiking trails and camping options. The popular Raven Cliff Falls trail leads to a scenic overlook of the 420-foot waterfall. Be sure to check out other South Carolina State Parks for more outdoor adventures.
