BAREFOOT LANDING NAILS

"DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! My dip turned out TERRIBLE! I didn’t say anything because I was the only person in the nail salon (not a single other customer) and I felt uncomfortable. Update! Laura texted and called me to ask me to come in and have my nails redone and offer a refund. I did not want them “redone” because my fingers were already sore from the mess that the previous nail tech did! When I texted her the photos below and asked her availability to come get my refund, I got no response! My guess is because while I was on the phone with her, she asked me if I was from the area and I told her no - so, definitely don’t recommend anyone to go here, especially if you don’t live in the area and will not provide repeat business to them. I know the photos aren’t that clear, but I still think you can see how terrible my dip looks. As someone who travels the country and gets dip done every 3-4 weeks, I rely on reviews for nail salons. Their Google reviews reflect a 4.5 rating, but that is definitely not the case on other websites (such as Facebook, etc). If you do look through other websites with reviews and photos, you will find consistency on how other people’s nails look (same as my photos). Just save your money and go elsewhere."

"I do not get my nails done a lot, maybe once a year, but came in with my mom (who does hers often) today as we are here visiting family for a week. I did want to keep my nail length going because I was excited that my natural nails finally grew in long again and they are pretty strong. One did break so we did one tip to make that one match. When my nails were done I was pretty bummed with how they came out for a number of reasons but I'm not going to complain, I just mostly wanted to move on and leave. The technician who did my mom's nails, Laura, saw my nails and immediately offered to redo them for me but as I was kind of distressed and embarrassed about it we agreed just to come back later. So we did, and Laura saved the day and did an awesome job, was super nice and helpful. I had originally asked for the cat eye color (not understanding what it was), and told only right before the previous tech was about to apply color that he couldn't do it because they didn't have the tool. (I actually only got a manicure in the first place after seeing the cat eye colors and thinking they were super cool-originally I was doing a pedicure only). But when we came back Laura had the cat eye tool and did exactly what I had wanted originally, and fixed the shape and stuff. It was really nice of her to do that and she was super friendly. I am just giving 4 instead of 5 stars because of how short my nails are now after all of the filing even though I tried to ask for them to not be shortened. (They're all about the length of my shortest nail which had that tip put on it in the beginning, which now seems like it was pointless since that was to match the length of the rest of them that are now all short, but oh well). But thank you Laura!!"
