"Do NOT get your taxes done with Jackson Hewitt! I went to the kiosk inside of Walmart of Newport. My first red flag should have been when I tried to give the lady my print out from the daycare. She tried to tell me she didn’t have anywhere to put that information in. I let her know it is absolutely something that I need to turn in to receive credit. She got her supervisor to remote take over the computer and help her multiple times. I told her that I was head of house hold several times. She asked me to sign and had gone over absolutely nothing with me. I asked if she could tell me what my refund is. She told me it would print after I signed. She then printed the papers and handed them to me. Still didn’t go over anything with me. I told my husband that night that I felt nervous she messed something up. At the beginning of this week I went to the IRS website and was putting in my information. It was showing that it wasn’t the correct information. So I opened the folder to check. She filed me under Single. After being told head of household multiple times. I call Jackson Hewitt and a lady named Wendy answered the phone. She gets an attitude and tells me “Well some people just don’t qualify for head of house hold”. I tell her I absolutely do. She tells me that she will have the manager Melissa give me a call. I have since called multiple times and had multiple messages left for Melissa. She won’t come to the phone or return my calls. This place is a joke!"

"Do not I repeat DO NOT go here. Over a year later and hours on the phone with the IRS I found out that our return was rejected and never submitted. Not only did they not correct and submit the return until after I had to call them but the corrected return showed we owed over 1,000 less than what we originally paid. Again no communication with us I found out through another IRS call. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. It makes you give at least one star but they should not receive any."
