Walgreens Pharmacy

"I called the Pharmacy. I was put on hold. I think at some point their system transferred me out of the pharmacy into the regular system. I was picked up told please hold...then put on hold. It was picked up to be placed on immediate hold each time and eventually someone picked up, didn't say anything, then hung up. Once again, I don't think this was the pharmacy holding system as their hold line is different. But I'm posting on both areas because if I am on hold with the pharmacy I should not be transferred out to the regular system where they just wind up hanging up on you versus taking the time to answer the call on hold and answer any questions or direct you to the proper area and representative."

"Horrible customer service. I call to speak with a pharmacist and I still on hold for 31 minutes the phone picks up and hangs up. I call back ,when I speak to the tech I tell them what happened and I didn't want to be put back on hold behind everyone else. She said ok and proceeds to do that very thing. I call back and speak to the same tech she puts me on a brief hold and comes back and says I can leave a message and they will call me back. I said that fine as long as it's in a timely manner. Well guess what no call back and now they are closed for the day. Customer service is just about dead in this country."

"I set up an appointment online for my first vaccine. Took me about a half an hour in and out and that was with paperwork. As I was leaving I set up my 15-year-old son's appointment for the next week, I had him in and out in less than 20 minutes. We have our second dose appointment next week. I feel confident that it will go smoothly but I will edit this review if that changes. Everybody was super friendly and helpful especially the pharmacist and Summer."

"Very, very, very bad! Every month you call to see if your prescriptions are ready they tell you yes and a total. After you drive up there they proceed to tell you "We have nothing for you" The girl at the window tonight thought it was funny because she laughed!! I don't know her name, she looked like a student, had on a blue uniform, young black girl with glasses. She actually thought it was funny when I said this happens every single month for the past 4 months!! I will be pulling my uncle's prescriptions from Walgreens!!!!!!"

"My doctor sent over a prescription Friday morning. I received an automated call about an hour later saying that it had been ordered because it was not kept in stock. The automated message said that I would receive a call when it was ready. However, the message didn't say anything about the fact that Walgreens doesn't get medication deliveries on the weekends which I didn't find out about until Saturday afternoon. So a medication I could have had filled somewhere else on Friday wont be available for pickup until sometime Monday. If a medication is called in and it needs to be ordered and will be days before it's available someone from the pharmacy should call to inform the patient to see if they want it filled somewhere else instead of just sending an automated message."
