Everytime she has cut my hair I barely am able to explain what I want but somehow that doesn’t matter we just click and she does a fantastic job and I walk away loving it everytime!"

"I scheduled a color and cut a couple of days ago. This was my first visit, and my mom recommended the stylist. Although the stylist was friendly and offered a discount, she did not meet my expectations or give me the desired results. I wanted my hair dyed a lovely shade of burgundy or plum and even showed the stylist a number of photos with the shade I wanted. The lighting was poor to begin with, but my hair was much darker than I wanted. I thought if I went out into the natural light, it would look better. It did not. If a hair stylist cannot mix colors properly, she should not be coloring clients' hair! I also showed examples of the cut I wanted, but this did not turn out, either. I wanted to have a shorter layer on top, but the stylist told me she didn't think it was right for my hair texture. This was the first time she worked with my hair, and she should have been more willing to listen and give me what I wanted. I gave in because I'd already been there about 3 hours and wanted to leave. She didn't seem too eager to accommodate me anyway. I also had asked if I would be able to come back if I wasn't happy with the cut. Instead of readily agreeing and wanting to satisfy me as a customer, she told me that it would basically be another haircut if I came back. (Really? After a day or two?) The salon services and the customer service were definitely lacking. I likely will not visit again. Now I have to wait for my hair to fade or try to add some temporary color to it myself. To top it off, I hadn't had my hair done in at least a year. I was nervous going in, and I was right to be nervous after all. I paid a lot of money for nothing."

"Been going to Crystal for years was always happy with my hair. Had color and cut done in June. My hair is long and one length very thick and natural curly. We talked about taking a couple inches off and possibly layers. I ask for long layers and she suggested medium. The longest layers are fine but the ones above that are really hard to deal with and some are so short they are up to my chin. Remember I had pretty long hair. Will be years until my hair is one length again. I’ve been wanting to leave a review since June but always change my mind. Every time I straighten my hair now it’s so much harder with these shorter layers and I’m totally frustrated with it. After struggling with it for months now felt like I would go ahead and leave a review Don’t go medium or what really is short layers if you have super thick curly hair! It makes it not lay correctly and looks chopped up."
