"Stayed the weekend with mom and kids because my son was graduating at Fort Jackson. The moment we entered to the time we left the staff was very friendly and helpful. Dee was at the front desk and extremely pleasant. The manager decorated the lobby beautifully for the holidays. The rooms were spacious and quaint. Located nicely from the base and on the strip from loads of other stores (there's a DD right in front). Breakfast was pretty tasty. We'll be back next time in SC!"
"What a great hotel loved everything about it. Stayed here a few weeks ago with my son and his friend. We were in town to watch a college football game. Front desk at checking in was great and talk about the snacks and free water was a nice touch too. Breakfast was perfect had everything you would need for a great breakfast and coffee and tea all day too. Staff was very helpful with all our needs. Great location food and restaurant we’re walking distance and UBER were not too expensive to get around from this location."
"Stayed here in Columbia for one night. It was clean and the room was fine for the night. The front desk girl when I checked in ate Skittles the whole time she was helping me check in and the key cards she handed me were covered in fingerprints. She was friendly but a bit much. She could use an etiquette class or two. The breakfast wasn’t much to stick around for, no eggs, there were biscuits but no sausage gravy. My biggest complaint was the landscaping people began edging and using a gas blower outside my room at 7am."
"Overall a nice stay. Whenever I book a trip, I search diligently to ensure that the rooms are clean and bug-free. The Home2 Suites did not disappoint! No signs of any bugs, friendly staff, clean room. Mattresses had some normal wear and tear, but nothing to cause any issues. Wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night, we were just passing through. I'd stay again."
"No wifi and lousy customer service… Front desk clerk refused to honor my quoted rate because I could not show “travel orders”. I arrived wearing my badge, carrying govt issued gear and was in their system as a Hilton Honors member. Would’ve been nice if they told me about travel orders when I booked the room."
