"My 2-night stay met expctations in every way. Nice room, perfectly clean, congenial staff. I think of 5-star as "luxury", and this wasn't that. But it certainly was lovely. Location was particularly advantageous, with a variety of restaurants and shops nearyby - even walking distance."

"Great location. Front desk extremely friendly and welcoming. If I could have stolen the bed and put in my suitcase, consider it done. Awesome sleeping bed. I didn't have the breakfasts so can't speak on that. But clean room. Clean bathroom. Was a very nice stay for me. As a traveling nurse I want to sleep well and I did."

"This was my first time staying in a Comfort Inn in quite awhile and it will probably be my last. We arrived around 4pm with check in going smoothly. We were given a ground floor room at the end of the hall next to the guest laundry room which at the time I did not think was a big deal. My mistake! Upon entering the room the entry way smelled very moldy, all the lights in the bathroom and entry hall were missing covers, and we had no garbage can. After being on the road all day we just sucked it up and said it is what it is. We went out to eat and came back to get some sleep. At 1:45am with ear plugs in, I am awakened to the booming sound of some moron that has decided to do his laundry and dry his shoes in the dryer. The walls were so paper thin I could hear him clearing his throat and playing videos on his phone. After enduring this noise for over an hour my husband finally goes to the front desk to ask if their is any set operating hours on the laundry room as we are unable to sleep with the dryer being right against our wall and have been awake for almost an hour and half while this guy dries his shoes. As the front desk claims there is nothing he can do my husband asks to speak to the manager who he is told is unavailable at the time. The guy gives my husband a business card for the manager whom my husband calls at 3:30am and the guy who was at front desk answers acting like he has been awakened and is a different person but yet it’s the same guy operating the front desk! After explaining the situation again to the “manager” aka guy who lied to us at the front desk the only solution we are offered is moving rooms. My husband said no we are not packing all of our stuff and moving at 3:30am and to just fix the problem of the rude guy doing the laundry. Finally ten minutes later we are given peace after hearing the rude guy screaming he is almost done only to be woken up after 5am to a herd of buffulo stomping around on the floor above us for half an hour as there is apparently paper thin floors in the hotel as well. In total we were lucky if we got three solid hours of sleep. At checkout I was asked how my stay was and I said horrible and explained what happened and all I got was “oh, sorry. Here’s your receipt “. Absolutely terrible guest services! I was truly disgusted walking out of there. I won’t give them another dime of my money."

"This is an older property that is beginning to show its age and needs a bit of updating to the facility itself. However, our room is clean, quiet and relatively comfortable. And the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a typical budget priced hotel that is very basic and no frills offering a “hot” breakfast consisting of the usual breakfast items of cereal, pancakes, scrambled eggs, yogurt, juices and coffee all of which are nondescript but filling. This is not the place you would want to spend a week in the Lowcountry yet for the casual travelers, tourists and tour busses it’s very acceptable. Good restaurants nearby within walking distance."
