"I’m a chef and I work for a big company and I have a catering at 12 o’clock and I came in at 9:40 to be told to leave because I don’t have a plus membership. Are you guys kidding me? So I can pay $50 for a membership that just came off my debit card last week and you’re gonna turn me away at the door when I was there to buy $500 worth of Valentine’s Day cakes and cookies. Dessert bar.. I will never walk in that store again. I handed the lady my card. I said here you go, ma’am you can keep it I won’t Ever be back. Never again for now on it’s Costco and target"

"I went to Sam’s club today to get some groceries before my membership ended. I went to a live cashier. I should have checked my receipt in the car but waited until I got home and what a mistake that was. I was charged incorrectly not once but twice. She charged me twice for butter when I only got one pack, and twice for dryer sheets when I had only one of those. I was over charged $25.00 and can’t reach anybody on the phone. Now I’m stuck with driving 45 minutes back to Sam’s club to sort this out or just biting the bullet and losing $25. Having a horrible time with customer service. Unless things are corrected I’ll be canceling my membership."

"Very nice and very clean Sam's club. There's a quick charge charging station for EVs right outside. This store has a gas station with inexpensive gasoline as well. There are some restaurants nearby. One thing that's a bit annoying is how difficult it may be to enter or exit their parking lot during popular times. Otherwise - a large clean store with great selection, clean bathrooms and a cafe."

"If I could give negative stars, I would. I purchased a portable AC unit brand new, NOT OPEN BOX. I opened it a few hours later to find this. Filthy, rusted, and DEFINITELY not new unit. I called and spoke with a manager because there was only one other unit on the floor. I asked him to set it aside for me and I would pick it up in the morning considering my husband was working. He said he would. My husband went the next morning and they never brought it to customer service like they said they would. The last one was sold. There wasn’t even an apology from the staff. No effort to help find me another, nothing. I made a complaint to Sam’s HQ about the unit, and before even going to switch out the unit, the store had resolved the issue already? Without even seeing it. I also later contacted them ( how I found out it was already resolved) to help me find a unit since the store refused to do so. They tried to coordinate with the store to find me one and the store never even answered back. I was later helped by Christian, a supervisor in the main customer service line and he was the one to help me find a unit and even gave me a discount to match the price I paid for the other one. Every other person I spoke with gave me the run around or told me false information. I’m super thankful to him, but I will NOT be renewing my membership and I will be switching to Costco. This store does not care about its customers and I won’t be retuning. This has been the most frustrating experience ever and as someone who has worked in customer service for years, the way they handled this was completely unacceptable."
