"I recently became a patient at CWP after moving from Richmond, VA to Columbia, SC. I recently had a colposcopy procedure (by Dr. Naffziger), and it was the most painful thing I have ever been through (after waiting an hour in the procedure room for her to show up). During my initial visit with Dr. Naffziger, she spent approximately 3 minutes with me, and said two sentences. She does have excellent nurses, though. I had a lot of discomfort and swelling after the procedure, and called the office multiple times to discuss my concerns. I have had this procedure before, with no issues. All of my concerns were brushed off, expect by Vanessa (RN). Upon her advice, I was seen the next day by NP Michelle. Michelle gaslit me and made me feel like I was wasting her time. She used a speculum despite me expressing how much pain I was in. I was advised by 2 other RNs and another OBGYN that I should seek out additional care due to my symptoms post-procedure. I myself am a healthcare provider, and I understand that our health care system is broken. Despite this, I always show compassion and empathy to my patients. Seems to me like this practice could use some empathy training, and some better communication skills. Going to the OBGYN is a very vulnerable experience, and patients should be treated with respect."

"I really wanted to like Carolina Women's but their clinic is ridiculous. I have never been to such a terrible doctors office. I used to see Dr Reed almost a decade ago as a teenager. She was a lot nicer then. Now she just rushes everyone in and out. I've had bad results from testing and they never called. Not once, or the second time or the third time. They just don't call. I'm rarely seen at my appointment time and they've canceled my appointments three times within the past year and didn't tell me. Then when I call about not hearing about a reminder call for my appointment, they claim it was canceled... they don't know why and I can't be seen until 7 months later??! You must be kidding me. Run far away from this place!!"

"I became a patient at CWP when I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd. I was lucky enough to become Dr. Jones' patient (although I've been seen by almost all providers and the NP and I had great experiences with all of them). My care during and after my pregnancy has been top notch. I seriously don't have one negative thing to say about the practice and every single person I've encountered that works there, at both the main office and the St. Andrew's location. Dr. Jones is the most down to earth and considerate obgyn I've had. She listens, explains, and allows you to feel confident and relaxed with everything. I ended up having some complications later in my pregnancy and had to have a c-section. She and the other providers that discussed the procedure with me made me feel relaxed about the decision. I have also had some issues arise after delivery (not related to the delivery itself), causing me to need a hysterectomy. Dr. Jones (and her fabulous, heaven sent nurse Kimberly that answered my million questions constantly) tried different things before resorting to the procedure, listened to my concerns and once again made me feel great about the decision to move forward. I've never had a long wait time, never encountered anyone rude or pushy and seriously count my blessings that I decided to go to this practice for the birth of my last baby!! **and the hospital staff during and after my csection and my hysterectomy were also amazing."

"This is not the place for African American or interracial couples. I have had numerous run ins with this clinic from the first time of going. Firstly, if you are also a first time mom, I’d like to think you want positive joyful experiences, well these nurses and the staff does not give it. They are very dismissive and the wait time is longer than the time of them seeing you. They rush you out after waiting for nearly an hour and a half. If you have a birth plan, they do not want you to request or do anything that goes against what they want and what they want to do. My doctor was Julie A Reed. I hardly saw her except twice out of the whole 23 weeks of me being pregnant. I didn’t request her, I wanted someone else but they stuck me with her. Of course I had a pap and colposcopy done and it was so entirely painful, it was ridiculous. Mind you I had several before and not nearly as painful as that. She spoke rudely about me to her nurses and it got back to me. I never got her number or contact information in case of emergency either. I had to transfer. Of course because I was so late in my pregnancy, I decided to transfer back because they had all of my records and I didn’t want to put Chayton (My Son) in a position to not have a ob. They told me I was denied to come back by Julie Reed because I was too far along in my pregnancy and that I couldn’t go to a different obgyn in there clinic because she wouldn’t allow me too. Mind you it was only two weeks of being seen from them and deciding to go back (how was it too far along?) she clearly was upset and put her emotions before her work and denied me because I decided to leave in the first place. Typical for women doctors. They let there emotions dictate the rightful decisions. I didn’t want to go back to her anyways. This clinic is chaos and judgemental at its finest"
