"1/23/2024 - Another enjoyable day and round of golf at Dolphin Head from Bag Drop to Check In and beyond. Greens are top notch in all aspects - fairly quick and consistent, and rolling true and smooth. Fairways are dormant, but very playable with few, if any bare spots. Tee boxes were quite good from the Blue and Black tees on all holes except for #17, but noticed more problems on a few of the other holes for my playing partners from the white and yellow tee boxes. Sand was somewhat hard/wet, but none of us were in it often, so I cannot speak to its consistency. Overall assessment is high and very good value...recommend playing Dolphin Head!"
"Decent layout, greens were in ok shape and for early fall you'd figure they would be overall in better condition... Did see about a 5-6 foot alligator which was pretty cool... One hole did get close to the ocean/salt water view"
"Played this course on June 4th 2023. Overall the course is great from the tee boxes, fairways, and greens. The course is very challenging and you cannot over power it. You must play smart and know when and when not to use the driver. Hazards are all throughout the course and some tight fairways. The amenities on the course are nice as well with the exception that you can't use your driver on the range because it only allows up to 225 yards. Bunkers need some work and wish they had water on the course throughout and not just at the turn. It gets hot in the south. Highly recommend to play at this course."
"We played this course on our 2nd day through our Golfpac trip. The course was very nice and the range was very well setup as well. Included was a free replay which unfortunately we did not get to use fully. The starters questioned whether or not we were playing 9 because the course was closing in 3.5 hours. Be done by 6:30 or we will lock the gates on you! Typical belligerent talk from a starter with too much time on his hands and a bad attitude. Had he not held us up with his incessant talking and questions, we probably could have gotten the second 18 done. First 18 was great. Overall a decent place, but probably wouldn’t go back with all the other options in the area."
"Very fun course. Plenty of challenge - water, trees and undulating greens but still fair with fairly wide fairways. Staff is friendly and nice clubhouse. Good rates too. Tee boxes a little beat up."
