The farm is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join their team as a Part-Time Farm Educator. Responsibilities include leading engaging field trips, teaching planting techniques, identifying local plant species, and introducing survival skills to participants of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of farming practices, the ability to engage diverse audiences, and a passion for environmental education.

Owned by Troy and Jody, Barefoot Acres is a 52-acre farm committed to providing fresh, seasonal produce and heritage meats to the community. Their dedication to regenerative farming techniques and honoring traditions shines through in every aspect of the farm. Through their efforts, they inspire others to connect with the land and live a healthier, more mindful lifestyle.

"Really impressed with these folks and their operations. These are some genuinely good people and such a family friendly place. They hosted our daughters birthday party and it went flawlessly. Our tour guides Sarah & Hannah were so patient with the kids that were nervous. They also supplied pizza for the party that was really good pizza and not just little ceasers quality. Every kid walked away saying it was the funnest party they have been to. Great job guys and we will be back."

"Hannah and Sarah were the absolute best. So much fun. They were so patient with my 10 year old who had to overcome his fears at every station that we went to. So much family fun. The entire team is so helpful and I would recommend zip lining at Barefoot acres to anyone. There are many walking trails to enjoy before and after your adventure!!"

"Barefoot Acres was so much fun! We came on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday they had a small business event to support local and small business. There were lots of people there enjoying adventure courses, ziplines, food and product tents, Catered BBQ, campfire, and more. We had a good time and decided to come back again on Sunday. We did the Adventure Overlook with the Zipline Corridor. It was so much fun. Gabbi and Hannah were awesome guides and showed us everything we needed to know to get through the challenges. We then did the Racer Ziplines a few times and they were so much fun too. I think I got going over 15mph! The kids had a great time and were sad to leave. But we will for sure be back again. Definitely a must to take your family there!"

"Went for a kids birthday party and my son had an amazing time. The instructors took their time with the kids on the ropes course. It had multiple zip lines that the kids loved. Ended with the huge zip line that the kids loved as well."
