Captain's Quarters Resort

"I can't tell you what to do, but I wouldn't book here. For the money it isn't worth it! I booked with them last year to take my son on vacation and the room was subpar for the price. When we arrived the bathtub was clogged and no one came to unclog it the whole 3 days we spent there. No one bothered to even come and clean the room, even after me requesting it. The amenities are over hyped online and aren't as they appear. You can book any hotel on the strip and have the same amenities, but probably better. On top of that I gave them a deposit over $300 at checkin that I never got back. After calling them repeatedly (with no response from them) I left three voice-mail messages and no one has bother to call me back. It's been about a year and still no refund or communication from them. Please save yourself the time and money and book elsewhere."

"Ok we’ll we started our trip off horribly, the lock to our room was busted, nasty room, things clearly missing, and over all was terrible and literally unsafe because the lock was broken and someone could walk in. It was a hassle to get a new room but we did but it was a down grade from what we paid. We ended up switching to the room we paid for the next day and had a nice day on the beach before 6:15 AM the next day waking up to the hotel on fire and people screaming outside the door. I have been going to that hotel for 15 years and the rooms and staff and overall hotel have progressively gotten worse and worse. I can confidently say I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!"

"We had reservations over Memorial Day. The hotel and area around it are not safe and not kid friendly. Police officers were stationed at the corner due to bike week. They said "do not let your children go out alone" and "do not leave anything in your vehicle that can be seen as it will be broken into." This is a motel classified as a hotel. Most doors face parking. Room was better than expected view of the ocean was great. People smoking pot in plain view. We tried to check out, they said to leave your keys in the key return box and they would check us out early. I did this and we still got charged for all nights. There isn't anyone who will answer the phone to listen to your experience or give you a refund. Luckily we were the first of our team to arrive everyone else was able to cancel and stay else where. Multiple messages have been left with no return call. Do not stay here! I received a call from the hotel the very day I posted this message. They were going to follow up on our situation however I never received a call back and no refund for any of our nights."

"The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They try to accommodate your every need. The room was nice. I would recommend booking a higher floor because of the noise from the pools below. The front desk was kind enough to move us to a different room. The bed was very comfortable and our room was clean. Other than the unexpected fire at the bowling alley our stay here was good. I do appreciate all that Captains Quarters did in getting us a new hotel for the remainder of our stay. Things could have been handled differently but in the grand scheme of it all the did good. Thank you to the staff and management of Captains Quarters."

"The staff were awesome, especially the ones of Level Six and the Vista. Friendly and super helpful. The closeness to the beach was so great for night walking and I had a great view from my oceanfront efficiency. The building is old but everything is kept clean and tidy. I will definitely book again as they made my weeks vacation perfect. Thanks Captains Quarters crew!"
