"Let's Saddle Up offers therapeutic horsebackriding for those with special needs, free riding for veterans, and Silver Stirrups lessons for those over (? 50, I think it is). Volunteers help with the lessons. Sharron, a certified PATH instructor and RN, can instruct in either Western or English riding, according to the rider's preference. Currently there is a waiting list for therapeutic riding."
"I am 69 and rode horses with my friend at work on weekends in Newnan, Ga while my husband was in VietNam. She and her husband were horseowners and knew what they were doing. I learned to saddle up and brush the horse, and safety . We live in Comer , GA and would like to ride for pleasure safely. I only have two acres and I don’t believe that I could own a horse and maintain it here in Comer. I have arthritis and believe this would be good Therapy for me. Hope I can find a place to renew my riding for pleasure. It would be a dream come true for me."
