"I don't even know where to start! This shop is hands-down one of the best automotive experiences we've ever had. We were headed from Anderson SC down to Murrells Inlet when we broke down. Luckily, we had decided to get off the interstate and take an alternate route that took us through Chapin. Our van broke down, coolant leaking and there was a burning smell when we stopped. Lucky for us, I saw the OPEN sign at Taylor's just beyond where we stopped. We got there 30 minutes before they closed with a packed van and three dogs. They welcomed us with open arms. Mandy sat with us for a good hour past closing time while we tried to find lodging that accepted three dogs. Veronica gifted us with a Clemson dreamcatcher that she had made. All of the staff loved on our pups and made us as comfortable as possible. Tim, the general manager diagnosed our problem and said he could get it fixed in the morning once he got the part. Here's the even better part of the story. After I found an Airbnb that would take pups, Tim offered us a ride to the house. So, there we go....all three pups hopped in and off we went. Roxy sat in Tim's lap on the way! Oh but it gets better!!! Tim picked us up the next morning and took us to the shop AND loaned us his car for us to grab some lunch! Repairs were made and we were back on our way. Tim continued to check in to make sure we arrived safely. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Yes, they did the job but they went FAR beyond any expectations. They were kind and gracious. Many shops would have closed their doors on us. But Taylor's did not.
