"I can tell you my whole loc journey, but, it would take too long. So, this is what I will tell you; I'm very much pleased with my new loctician, Ms.Hope at Divine Locs. Why, because, as soon as she examined my hair,she informed me that some of my locs needed to be repaired and she educated me about not coloring my hair at the root,etc. While other locticians, that I've had in the past, just did my hair, and sent on my way.I drive from Charlotte to Rock Hill for my hair appointments, and will continue because of the care that I received. The shop has an peaceful and positive vibe!! No gossiping, just doing hair and talking about healthy issues. And, I have good vibes about the other locticians as well, so take your pick! ~Peace & Blessings"

"The rating is based solely off of my experiences with Divine Locs/ Angela. In Feb 2023 I had a loc extension install with Angela. I had a maintenance done 6-8 wks then 8 weeks then again about every 8 weeks at Divine Locs, and once elsewhere because I was unable to get back to Rockhill, therefore I had another Loctician to do the maintenance and who was very hesitant to touch my hair (reason being my hair is thin)..I explained that my hair has always been thin..and her recommendation was to remove the extensions from the Locs or combine bc of how thin my hair is and stated that she would have Never Ever done that type of install. Fast forward.. I made an appointment with Angela for Aug 29th @ 7a..it was confirmed..2 days prior I asked can I change it to anything later, I was given a yes come in at 5:30 on 8.29 (at this time I received a 4:30 reminder about my 5:30p), it was storming and raining but I still went..got there a few min earlier and noticed that Angela was just starting another head..I questioned when should I return I stated i will be back around 6p..I came back around 6p and noticed the same person in the chair and another now getting her hair washed by Angela. I then asked when is a good time bc at this point Itsc30 min beyond my appt time..she apologized and said there are 2 ahead of you..she then said Im running behind as if I couldn't see this...I told her I would be in the area to call me when she's done because I lived too far to come back andcshe said ok..NEVER GOT A CALL!!! POOR Time Management..no this is not the 1st time its the 3rd time that she's either been running late getting there or had someine else in the chair during my appt time. I found another Loctician to provide maintenance and upkeep but again was hestitant because of the Loc extensions on thin hair..and questioned Why would she do this..did she not recommend you just going with your natural state and not add the extensions..I said No she stated that my hair would be fine and Yes I initially asked the same queations. hmmm now I wonder after two recommendations of these extensions being removed (which they will be eventually) should the Loc extensions have been initially installed. What should be realized is EVERYONE's time is precious and should not be taken for granted. Please get more than 1 recommendation, as everyone dont care about the health of you or your hair like you do..some people are motivated by the love of their craft and others by other things."

"I got the twists with Marley hair added. The hairstylists are very professional. The vibe there was amazing! I've already booked my next appointment. Also the hairstyle did not hurt my scalp at all.❤️"

"We look forward to our appointments with divine locs & tresses. Our loctician is Hope Desiree. All of the loctician/stylist there are amazing. Fast efficient, professional, approachable the vibe in the salon is high vibrational. Me and 4 of my children come to get our loc maintenance. My eldest daughter will be beginning her journey Soon. The salon also showcases local businesses by allowing them to house their goods/products to share with the customers as well. It is a one stop shop for natural products herbs, handmade custom pieces & also a beauty supply. Once you come and experience the experience you won’t go anywhere else."

"I moved into the area about 2 weeks ago. After a suggestion by a young lady that I met, she referred me to Divine Locs for natural haircare. After speaking with Angela, I decided to try faux locs. Since it was my first time with this style, I was skeptical. Angela came in 2 hours early to start my hair. I can honestly say that I am so impressed with my new hairstyle.
