"My experience today was a horrible experience at food Lion I went to purchase my items on WIC and was denied to purchase my items with WIC I had to purchase them on my food stamps card first and then purchase them with Wic which that will give me a little amount to use on my WIC card staying in line for over a hour the issue was not resolved went to the WIC office and found out that they had charged me on my food stamps card and my Wic card or the same items went back to the store to voice my concern the representative Deborah did not want to understand the situation I was forced to call the authorities to file a complaint because she was not trying to refund me the money that was spent on both cards so when the police arrive and I had my statement that I received from the WIC office showing that I did purchase items from food Lion and that both of my cards did get charged they was forced to giving back my money that I was advising them at the beginning that it was double charged but they had no good customer service that I was forced to call the police to properly the handle the situation because my voice wasn't important I spent a total of 5 hours dealing with this matter and I asked the store manager at the end what could he compensate me for all this time that I have consumed inside the store for a misunderstanding that could have been resolved within 5 minutes he says nothing he could do for me I feel like this was so unprofessional for a food Lion in Marion sc to even allow this type of behavior and this level of customer service so if you are single mama and have to go through this type of situation I suggest that you filed a complaint with the authority so they can do the proper investigation of Marion food Lion and why is it that you have to use your food stamps card before you use your WIC card which isn't right and for them to deny me the money that they use was not right I'm very disappointed and it puts me on a lot of stress dealing with I'm pregnant I hope I never have to have this experience again at Food Lion"

"****** update 8/21/19 ******* Never again will I shop at food Lion, I keep getting screwed over. Three bad experiences in a row waiting six people deep with just one lane open painful price for sell items. No more.... Ever. Clean, instock on most products thought do check dates and seals, I occasionally have issues with the two. Update: they never had more than one lane open which leads to a long waits. It's better to go to the IGA."
