"My wife and I just completed our third stay at one of the friendliest hotel we have stayed at. We stayed for 17 days- so you imagine how much we feel at home here The rooms are well appointed. The daily breakfast is tasty there is wine cheese and other snacks for a prediner appetizer. Fresh baked cookies every night is a great way to end the day The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about dinning options and local points of interest. Our daughter and family joined us for part of our stay and their room was ready for their children which enjoyed the hotel as much as we do. We will be back again!!"

"Rooms are beautiful - some rooms have exposed brick walls and they are just gorgeous. Not the greatest views out the window because of some new buildings that were just put up. The service staff and lobby are awesome - they have a complimentary wine / cheese bar every evening in the lobby. The location is great right next to the Charleston pier and all the restaurants on East Bay St."

"We stayed at Harbourview for about a week during our honeymoon in Charleston and had a wonderful experience. The staff were so friendly, our room was clean and spacious and I felt like we had a nice view of the city. I know there are some reviews that mention noise from construction; we didn’t have any issues with noise during our stay. The location is hard to beat. You’re in walking distance of the water and we were able to walk to most places in the city. The cost for valet parking was very reasonable compared to other locations we had looked at. We loved the rooftop and other amenities, including the daily breakfast you can have delivered to your room, evening cheese and wine reception and milk and warm cookies before bed! I was a big fan of the white noise machine. The housekeeping staff were fantastic and kept our room looking super nice and even organized the countertop in our bathroom. Would highly recommend!"

"Hi HarbourView Inn, I recently stayed 7 days at your Inn with my parents. A well deserved five star rating. The daily Happy Hour, daily M & M's and nightly cookies & milk sure hit the spot, and made our stay delicious. Happy hour music a nice touch. Complementary breakfast so delicious and extra special to have at a differeht spot each morning if we wanted to. Every time we returned for the night always a warm welcome home from the bell staff. Everyone really made our stay so delightfully pleasant. The water front park location makes this Inn special. Loved watching and walking out to the pier. A fantastic stay overall. Memorable employees that made the visit extra special: Sarah, Paul, Douglas, Tess, and the rest of the staff. All staff members so helpful and friendly. "I’ve stayed in several elite hotels and resorts in many countries and I have to say, the Harborview ranks as one of the top three stays I’ve ever had. What makes this hotel so special is their attention to detail. The staff are friendly, but not militant with their hospitality as can be seen in five star resorts whereby staff appear to walk on egg shells to get everything just right. They engage with you - everyone meets you where you’re at. The touches like 24/7 candy dispensers (replicating this for our office), evening milk and cookies (something to look forward to after a night on the town), a lovely breakfast delivered to wherever you want, happy hour, complimentary shoe shine… all thoughtful touches delivered systematically everyday and promptly on time. Lastly the location is ideal - my wife and I walked everywhere. The hotel is in the heart of it all. As for the complaints about the building under construction- this isn’t a big deal at all unless you’re looking for it to be. The view of the water was obstructed with the previous building before this development started. Don’t let reviews of the building under construction deter you from staying at a beautiful hotel with beautiful people. Highly recommended and look forward to returning again!"
