Lake Craig is now back to full pool after spillway repairs in 2022, and visitors can enjoy boating on the lake by renting a boat from the park office. The Southside Trail System can be accessed via the new bridge, connecting roughly 20 miles of hiking and biking trails. The park is open daily from 7am to 6pm, with extended hours until 8pm on Fridays during Standard Time and until 9pm during Daylight Savings Time. Admission fees are $3 for adults, $1.50 for South Carolina seniors, and $1 for children aged 6-15. Children under 5 are free. Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas as long as they are kept on a leash. Park Manager Tim Ritter recommends visitors relax on bench swings along Lake Craig or explore the peaceful creeks in the park.
