"Have heard of this place for years and finally got to visit. It's absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the trip from Blythewood. The roses were still popping, the walkways relaxing, the huge cypress trees majestic and the ambience wonderful. We will come back to check out all the Christmas lights in December."
"Clean restrooms! Scenic walks, various gardens seating areas, creeks, ponds, wildlife. ROSES!!!! We came in October and plan on coming back in the spring. What a gem. Also, many accessible paths."
"A very pretty area to walk and and get rid of stress. I always make a point of going to walk there every once in a while. If you play Pokemon Go there are a few Pokestops and Gyms in the area. They do Christmas lights every year and you can go through and walk and look at them, some of which are interactive (This is mainly just being able to press a button to trigger a series of lights to make it like it is moving. There have been some other ones where you can turn some things on and off to make it look different). I would recommend going to look at the lights around Christmas time as they tend to change a couple things from year to year."
"A beautiful peaceful oasis. A HUGE GARDEN with a plethora of plants, trees and God's creatures (ie SNAKES)...yikes. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, repellent, sunhat and wear comfortable shoes and you can easily spend the day getting lost in nature. A lovely place to visit and exercise your senses."
"Longest black water river in the US, very quiet and mystic. The humidity of the air is good for the lungs. The boardwalk was fun to explore."
