Mante Pediatrics

"Update: I am now ready to change practices. In addition to what I previously posted about I have called them four times today starting at 8:30am to get them to call in My Son‘s prescription that should have already been called in. We saw the doctor last week so the prescription should be at the pharmacy already. I have gotten rude responses and the staff basically claiming that the patients he’s seeing today are more important than the ones he already has seen. it is now almost 330 and I have to go to work and now I am unable to go pick up my son‘s prescription at the pharmacy like I kept telling them what happened. They have test testing this week and School and now he’s going to be without his medication in the morning. I am furious at this point. Front desk staff is beyond rude. No smiles. No greetings. No kindness on the way out the door either. Yet, it’s not like there’s a waiting room full of people. We are never in the waiting room more than 2 minutes. Their phone system is the worst. Every time you call you get a voice recording that claims that they are currently closed even though it’s during business hours. There’s no option to leave a message with a nurse or an option to leave a message. Call and call and call and call and then get put on hold and disconnected. Although, I suppose this relates back to the ladies that work upfront, talking miserable and like they all hate being there. It’s a frustrating and sad situation because the doctor so far has been pretty nice and helpful."

"I really love the doctors and nurses at Mante pediatrics but ever since I had my daughter and started coming here there is consistently a problem with trying to schedule an appointment. You can’t schedule them online even though there is a place to do so on the patient portal and no one ever answers the phone even when they are open and are not at lunch. I understand being busy sometimes, but when me and my daughter are the only people waiting in the lobby it makes me wonder how busy it is that no one can pick up the phone for a second to either place me on hold while helping another patient out or get an appointment set for my child. It frustrates me because I have to call more than 5 times just to get a response."

"I changed pediatricians years ago because of the amazing things i heard about this practice. I am not sure what has happened but since covid this entire practice all locations has gone down hill. The receptionist are rude and the care is not like it use to be. We will yet again be moving our children to another practice. We hoped it was just due to the craziness of covid but it hasnt changed. Please get better staff the girls up there are just nasty attitude wise."

"I have been coming here for probably 9-10 months for my now one year old son, at his 9 month check-up we went ahead to schedule his 12 month appointment for 6.19 which is a monday & I specifically request Mondays due to my work schedule. I show up to the appointment to find a sign stating “MANTE PEDIATRICS WILL BE CLOSED ALL DAY ON MONDAY, JUNE 19 IN OBSERVANCE OF THE HOLIDAY”, which fine cool I get it. But the amount of disrespect that I feel that I was never called to be informed about them being closed, the time & gas that was wasted driving there for no reason, & normally they have an automated message to confirm the next day appointment which I never received until 5:30pm 6.19 stating my appointment was for 3:30pm on 6.20 which I would never do because of my work schedule. Extremely unprofessional, if a business decides to be closed on whatever day for whatever reason fine, I can understand that, but at least be respectful enough to call the clients to reschedule."

"I've been taking my girls to Mante Peds for over 7 yrs. Ms Fisher always took the time to figure out what was going on with them and would also check on them to see how they were doing. My girls loved seeing her, and I loved that I could trust she would do the right thing for them and if she didn't know something she would always find out. She was great at communicating with me and my girls, whether it was test results, following up on referrals or just asking how they were doing. Change is hard, my girls are adjusting to her not being there, as I'm sure many are. We saw Dr Mante recently and he's gaining my little girls trust, sat down at her level had a talk with her and made her feel better about what was happening."
