Patricia Geraty McBurney, MD, MSCR is a dedicated doctor located at 135 Rutledge Avenue in Charleston, South Carolina, United States. Dr. Tricia McBurney obtained her MD from MUSC and completed her residency training in Pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia. She furthered her education by becoming an Academic Generalist Fellow at MUSC, where she earned her MSCR. Dr. McBurney is deeply committed to medical education, serving as the Pediatric Clerkship Co-Director for the College of Medicine and winning multiple teaching awards. She also acts as the faculty advisor for the Paul B. Underwood Jr. Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor at MUSC. Her research interests lie in medical education, and she is actively involved as a Master Facilitator in the simulation center. Dr. McBurney is a member of the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics, demonstrating her dedication to advancing the field of healthcare.
