“One of my cats needs medication and is very elderly and blind, the other requires a lot of stimulation, play and reassurance. Both cats had a great experience with Amy, returning home happy, relaxed, well fed and taken care of. Amazing and well worth every penny!”

“We stayed in one of the signature spa suites: Laconium. The bedroom element was huge with a very large and very comfortable bed. Would have liked a coffee machine in the room but this didn't detract from our enjoyment of it. The spa bathroom is the reason we booked this room and it was amazing. So lovely, and very unusual, to have private spa facilities like this. Would definitely return and try a different suite next time. Highly recommend it.”

“We were there for a queen tribute band and a meal. The food was excellent, tasty and well prepared. Service staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't visit the Spa this time but my wife has been there before and said that it was very very nice.”

“hotel was great nice stop. we had an extra bed put in to accommodate 2 adults and 3 kids but still didn't feel too cramped . lovely view of the park from the balcony and breakfast was great aswell. also had a meal in the evolution restaurant which is close by. was very entertaining for the kid's. Will definitely stop again.”

“I went here for the first time with my 2 children my friend and her 3 children on Sunday 27th February 2022, and I rate this place top notch. The food was absolutely phenomenal, I can go as far to say it was THE BEST CARVERY I have ever had. My children also agree with me. The staff are absolutely amazing, the customer service they provided was brilliant. Very lovely team, well spoken, polite and down to earth.”

“Extremely friendly pub with warm, welcoming staff. Dog friendly and has dog treats on the bar for ye pooches. Quintessentially old fashioned (in a good way!) pub with more rooms and space than appears from the exterior. Beautiful, gorgeous, tip top floral displays with troughs and baskets - great enticing kerb appeal. Has some outdoor benches to the front, but also an additional outdoor seating area to the rear with plenty of sheltered seats. Residential and also has a function room for hire. An innovative range of four cask beers on, none of which I had heard of before: Acorn Brewery's Old Moor Porter, Welbeck Abbey Brewery's Ernest George, (which is a deep ruby ale with chocolate hint) Acorn Brewery's Barnsley Gold and Abbey Dale Brewery's Daily Bread, which is what I had. Heartily recommend this establishment and is one I would return to when in the area. Keep up the glorious 'floralness', has more enticing lure quality than one might think. Fabbohs!”

“Hotel is a beautiful old building, the staff are lovely,the restaurantd are very good. No complaints at all , lovely and warm in all bars sitting areas. Rooms ,very comfortable beds ,nice bathroom ,bath not too high with good shower lots of hot water , heated towel rail ,red hot radiator in bedroom turned right down to 2 even in this cold spell,dread to think what their heating bills are. Brilliant entertainment .the resident singers and entertainment managers are all very good Belle has an amazing voice . The night turns start at 9.30 and have been brilliant. All in all we've Loved it I'm sure we won't hesitate to come back.”

“We arrived late evening so didn't use the Restaurant which is a Thyme Restaurant. Room was a typical Premier Inn room. It was warm and the windows will not open so had to fiddle around with the heating to cool the room down. We went for Breakfast just after 9 am and there was no wait for a table. The buffet style breakfast was excellent as was the service from the lady running the restaurant and the chef behind the counter. If in the area would use this hotel again”

“Easy to get to and reception staff was lovely. Got extra towels for the room o problem. As usual with Premier inn the bed was super comfy, slept a straight 8 hours, most unusual for me!!”

“We stayed for one night for a wedding. Comfortable, clean, spacious, well-equipped room. Helpful and very friendly staff, plenty of choices at the breakfast buffet. Excellent value for money.”

“Well kept hotel close to the motorway. This hotel is super accessible from the motorway, with added bonus of being just far enough that you can't hear a thing. The room was well maintained and welcoming. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Although there was no Air conditioning, the room had a large standing fan available for use. The breakfast was buffet style with advance booking encouraged. Would definitely stay here again if needed.”

“One of the most versatile locations for a wedding. The hotel staff are just amazing and organise the day perfectly! We attended a wedding there on several occasions and the food is fantastic, the staff are exceptional and the venue is just stunning! It's a lovely hotel for a break away and to see what Sheffield has to offer. Plenty of car parking too!”

“Great hotel. Convenient to the moor and town centre. Clean, quiet and great breakfast. Staff good - only slight issue was with key card having to revisit the reception desk every time I wanted to get back in my room but other than that, great stay”

“Always better than travelodge for a nice room, good sleep and quality location. Parking is £11 at the nearby NCP if you validate your ticket at the front desk machine. Small improvement would be a smaller portion of cooked breakfast (wasn’t a buffet), as 2 of everything meant we wasted a bit of food which wouldn’t have happened at a buffet.”

“If I could give this place more stars I would as it in my opinion deserves it. Very friendly reception staff. Wheelchair accessible throughout the entire building. . The room is very clean and made up well with coffee and tea facilities. Rooms are cleaned for you daily with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom is amazing and modern with a lovely power shower. Included in the price is a free breakfast whether you want a cooked breakfast or a choice of cereals and fruit, plus free coffee or fruit juice and you can eat as much as you wish to. It has a well stocked bar along with a extremely high quality menu at a very reasonable price. Plus a choice of snacks should you miss the restaurant times. All in all the Holiday Inn Express in Sheffield far surpasses its 3 Star rating and I will definitely be staying there again and I would highly recommend it for both families and romantic couples . Thanks for a lovely weekend away........”

“Lovely hotel, only 4 stars as its a listed building so doesn't have air-conditioning. All the staff were very warm, friendly and do their upmost serving or helping. One of the maintenance team kindly let me have his office fan as the hotel had none spare during the hottest day of the year, so thank you much appreciated!”

“Really enjoyed my stay at this Premier Inn. It was very busy at check-in but the staff were great. The room was excellent. Very clean and comfy. The bar/restaurant area was good as well. We utilised the meal deal. £25 for evening meal and a drink plus breakfast. Well worth it. Location was great as well. Under 10mins drive from Ponds Forge.”

“An extremely good room for the money - clean and comfortable. The service here is very good, including in the restaurant. The breakfast isn't exceptional but it's decent value for money. The location is the main appeal here - you have good access on foot to everything you might need (except the tram) and the prices are extremely reasonable.”

“We headed here late one evening after work and were greated by a member after staff who was friendly chipper and helpful. We messed up our booki g by ordering only one breakfast but it was no effort for her to amend things for us. The room had everything needed for a short stay and was clean warm and cosy. The morning g all you can eat breakfast was great. The staff couldn't do enough and were informative as to how we get things ordered. The food was pretty good too and after a nice leisurely visit to the restaurant we were set for the day.”
