“My little girl used to go to Becky Adlingtons at fitness first, and it was awful. They really knocked her confidence. New teacher every week and students who didn't have any patience for children. I put my daughter in here and although she's only had a few lessons I can already see a huge change coming with her, she seems calm and happy, she used to get so anxious before, the past few times we have been here she's been very very excited and happy to go! The two teachers are lovely and very patient and encourage the kids as they swim, just what they need! Olivia is very happy, so I am aswell :)”

“Great big beautiful place. Plenty of parking. Bedrooms are nice and big all with en suite. The grounds are lovely to. We have just stayed there. There was 22 of us. Great place for get togethers. Feels very homely. The place was lovely and warm to. For saying it's a big place.”

“A superb outdoor heated swimming pool set in the heart of the Peaks. We were lucky enough to visit as England slowly eased its way out of lockdown. It’s got sessions for members and public sessions available to book on its website, although be quick as they sell fast! The pool has a few free parking spaces out front and a paid car park and train station nearby for access. We found the pool to be clean, the outdoor changing cubicles are fine and there’s 2 open showers on site if you fancy a rinse. We visited on a day it had snowed in the morning and yes, it was a bit chilly getting your kit off (!)... but once in the pool you hardly notice. Swimmers were polite and respectful and the staff very friendly. It was a lovely day out!”

“Great swimming pool, friendly staff, clean facilities and a warm pool temperature. Our children really enjoy the family swimming session with floats. There are plenty of large family changing rooms and good sized lockers. The only improvement I could suggest is that the showers run for longer, pressing the button gives about 10 seconds of water.”

“A very nice pool. My first visit and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The changing rooms were nice and clean and the pool was lovely is a little on the warm side. I’m still getting used to swimming in a longer length pool and as the deepest section is only 1.4m It’s a good pool to practice in. I also like that you don’t have to book like most other pools in Sheffield.”

“Booked 4 bell tents over bank holiday weekend and was taken aback by the service and facilities. So much more than you’d expect and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. The hot tubs were amazing for the evenings and so easy to use. Everything you could want is located in your own private kitchenette so the only thing you need leave your tent for is for your private wet room. These again surpassed our expectations adding to the luxury feel. I’ve already booked to come back twice next year!”

“Last minute life-savers!! Turned around a query to hire, to hiring product in 3 days. Professional service. Arrived on time, set up and installation was seamless. All equipment was in good condition and great quality product. Was meant to be for a 11yr olds birthday but because we had it for 4 days adults definitely enjoyed it as much as the kids. Would use again and would definitely recommend.”

“Our 2 dogs have stayed with Elaine and Martin for many years now.... They run in when we drop them off, and don’t really want to leave when we fetch them back... It took us a while to find somewhere we were completely happy leaving the boys, but that’s what you get here... We’re off again next week and the boys tails are already wagging when we tell them they’re going to see Martin and Elaine...”
