They have also been featured in the media, with the Boston TV program Chronicle showcasing the Narrow River in a recent episode. Additionally, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management has posted updated maps of sites with aquatic invasive plants and Asian clams, with URI Watershed Watch playing a vital role in monitoring and managing these invasive species.
